I was in Morrisons just now and saw that all Dr.Oetker Pizza Ristorante varieties were reduced to £0.99. One of the best frozen pizzas in my opinion.

This is in-store only.

edit: Add End Date, though I doubt they will have any stocks left until then.

This is a fantastic price, i bought two for £3 something the other day at somerfield. I am off to Morrisons tomorrow to buy as many as i can fit in my freezer.
#2
Nice Pizzas, good deal
Thanks
#3
Agreed! Best frozen pizzas and 99p is a bargain!
#4
Really nice pizza's - shame Morrisons is miles away from my house - I'd spend the money saved on bus fares :-(
#5
They taste like cardboard ;-)
#6
scrummy yummy
#7
Let's hope that there's still some on the shelves tomorrow evening, because they were already on my list!
We think that they're the best of the supermarket pizzas. Good heads up.
#8
Good price, not bad pizza's, usually add a bit more topping to it myself.

ALSO Dr.Oetker Pizza is (if i'm not mistaken from my last purchase) made in Ireland !!!!! not germany or some fancy place to make it sound exotic.

Dr Smithe doesn't have the same ring

The advert for these really make me laugh.

Romantic Italian scene, italian music, couple sharing the pizza in an Italian restaurant.... "The Taste of Italy"

And then the caption at the bottom of the screen: "Made in Germany". lol
#10
Voted HOT!

My family all love these pizzas.

Will stock up tomorrow.

Cheers octopus

Just posh cheese on toast.

Had these before and thought they were disgusting, but each to their own. Good deal for those that like them.

OOOHHH soz, knew it wasn't a swanky italiano product, bring me a Dr.Oetker Pizza Ristorante (allemange) and a gino ginneli ice cream ( was Bird Eye Walls ice cream, made in down town Lowestoft in Suffolk)

Gosh what truley diverse produce we eat !!! NOT :whistling:

great pizza's nice and thin and crispy - hot stuff :-D
#15
Great find, thanks. Heat added.

Best supermarket pizzas, by far!

Yes, they do taste of cardboard. Not the taste of Italy, the taste of a German cardboard factory would be more accurate.
#17
These pizzas taste brilliant especially the picante.

However the mushroom/fungi one which tastes really good too - but has LOADS more calories due to the garlic butter.
#18
Great price and yum too! HOT from me
#19
Their rank. They aren't even worth 9p let alone 99p. The topping comes off in one big piece and scolds your mouth.

Waste of time.
#20
Next time you're thinking of buying one of these, just take a look at the ingredients, and in particular the amount of salt they contain. That's why they taste so good!
#21
The ASDA organics Stonebake Cheese & Tomato (3 for £3) beats this in taste by FAR.
#22

...Yup...me too...I call it 'Doctoring' the pizza via adding your own / extra toppings and using the original just as the 'base'

good deal op !
#23
Got some of these today - the Mozzerella ones are great :)
#24
These pizza's actually make the prospect of eating cardboard somehow seem mouth watering.

They're only any good if you overload them with toppings, and even that doesn't detract from the nasty cheap aftertaste they leave behind.

Gruesome stuff indeed.

yuummey

its on til the 25th of march.

When the day the young lad was putting them out and I soon as I saw around 200 on carts, I knew they had to be on a good deal. Bettter than half price as they are usually much much more. Bought 3. Had 2 already and yes, definitely one of a rare mix of pizzas that are really nice even though they are frozen.

Yeah right! I just remembered about this myself. They contain an INSANE amount of Salt. I think it was something like 19% of your Daily Intake for half a Pizza! So if you eat the whole thing, which is of course inevitable, that's nearly 40% of your total Salt intake from just 1 poxy Pizza!

please use the word "dry" not a real pizza just cheap junk. you could make a better pizza & more with a bit of time.
#29
If they taste like cardboard I would imagine you're over cooking them and not following the simple to follow instructions coz ours never taste that way.

Eeeeew someone give me a toothbrush so that I may brush off the horrible aftertaste of eating this pizza.

yuck. do you want to borrow someone's toothbrush? :whistling:

From personal experience (and we have tried all the supermarket pizzas) this is the best. Next are the Waitrose Italian Stonebaked pizzas. yummmmyyyyyyyyyy
#32
Had one last night....YUM!
#33
These really are disgusting pizzas. No wonder they are being sold so cheaply. Another vote for "avoid".

Each to their own - Personally I think theyre really nice - thin and crispy, and the pesto is great. I cant stand deep pan pizzas (aimed at the american market I think!!)

Completely with you on that one. We've tried all of the frozen pizzas and we find these by far the best. If anyone's trying to compare these to freshly prepared expensive pizzas then there's no contest, but for convenient frozen ones I think these are great.
#36
Just the mushroom ones left in stock locally - piles and piles of them. Nothing else. My favourite is the Quattro Formaggi, but the only place that always sells it here is Waitrose. Are they actually available elsewhere?
#37
I have to agree with the majority here.. they are nice! My husband loves the chicken one. Didn't find them too salty though. Heat added although I doubt I'll get a chance to go to a Morrisons for these. I'm a Tesco shopper!

Ewwwww
I tried these when i lived in Germany, and they were rank then. by the looks of it they're not much better now.

Peeps, here's a tip... make your own, with real ingredients. most supermarkets do jars of crushed tomatoes, use that, some proper mozzarella and a decent fresh (preferably homemade) pizza dough and dump this junk.

if you want to be a real perfectionist, try this link:

it's a bit extreme, but some tips can be taken without going all out like he did.

I love the Speciale ones...went and bought 2 yesterday.

You're right, of course. Better tasting and a lot better for you too.
