Nothing wrong with pointing out that they're half price at another supermarket. We don't all happen to live near one of each.

Also, you will never find Morries doing the Veg or Hawaii.

These really ming but if you are skint I suppose it's a good deal. Buy some salad as well though; you need your 5 a day (toppings don't count).

... but anyway, I paid £3 in Iceland for one of these, so this is a good deal. Even though they're not my favourite frozen pizza (prefer thicker base like Chicago town deep dish).
#16
They're also £1.26 in waitrose!!!
#17
Heat added for the deal as we appreciate the post :) These are simply the worst pizza's in the UK though imo

Apart from making your own (which everyone should be doing once in a while) where can you get a better frozen pizza? All the own brand ones I've had are awful and Goodfellas are typical horrible American deep pan nonsense.

You seem to be onto something there, all frozen pizza's are gash.

These are the best I've ever had tbh. Although I tend to just get the chicken one which is at least a bit interesting with the lashings of spinach & cream cheese.

So basically these are cheaper in every other supermarket currently....but this is hot lol

You've obviously not been to Italy before & had real pizza :)

Have you tried pizza express pizza's - they are 10 times better than these
#23
best pizzas ever!
#24
Also half price in Co-op - can't remember the price, but it's about the same.

Man, they must be doing a supermarket-wide promo!

Sigh.

Darren, I've been to Italy four times now and had some very nice pizzas. I've also had a gorgeous one down a back street in Portugal. Tipo 00 flour is not hard to get hold of you know & having a pizza oven is hardly something that only happens in Italy.

This is a deals website. If you don't want to buy Pizza this cheap then you're not in a position to rate a deal hot or cold - because you would never buy the product in question. Is it a hot deal? Up for debate. The product is hot at this price going on the normal RRP and it's good this particular post has made it onto the front page.

What you cannot do is say that Pizza Express make a product which represents a better deal for all. They retail for £3.99 normally which is over 3 times the cost of this deal. They are also around 3" smaller. I also find the toppings pretty mundane as their ready-made side has really failed to innovate.

Why do people compare apples with kiwi fruits? Thanks to the OP again.

Thanks for sharing :)

Throwin' in my tuppence worth - Lidl 3 pack Stone-baked peperoni (take off peperoni and put on my own toppings most times) The Best, without going to a good restaurant anyway. IMHO.

Well at least we've now got a good spread of Dr. Oetker deals relevant or near to us!.. everyone wins!
#31
I use to love these but after learning how to properly make my own (with tipo 00 flour and pizza stone) and a decent recipe I will never buy a shop pizza or even takeout again! Home made is cheaper too!
#32
bought a couple from Morrisons and taste repulsive...yes even at this price they're not worth it

I don't understand why people thing these even resemble a good pizza.
A crap biscuit-like frozen base with a thin sprinkling of reject toppings.

They are literally always on offer, i'd go so far as saying I'm bloody sick to death of Dr Oetker.

agree and disagree.

oeteker are very tasty and one of the better pizzas (especially the speciale although I do add garlic powder and chilli flakes). However, you really should try the goodfellas delicia range. Closest I have found to proper italian pizza (especailly the provencale one).

Jeez, was interested until I saw how long it takes to cook your own pizza!!!! Must cost a fortune in gas too.

How to use:
Place the pizza stone on the lowest shelf of the oven preheated at Gas Mark 9, 450°F/230°C. Heat it for 45 minutes.
Remove the pizza stone from the oven, place it on the rack and dust it with flour. Place on it a pizza dough base, rolled and shaped. Cover the base with sauce and prepared toppings and replace the pizza stone in the oven for a further 20-25 minutes, or until the toppings are cooked and the base is golden brown.

Morrisons obviously thought demand was good enough to extend this offer long after the normal 7-day cycle that they do.

Next we'll see a 'reevoo' on Dr. Oetker, (with a sideline) where people with 'bad deals' can contact the pizza regulator! :santa:
