I was looking to buy this for a family member going on a long haul flight over the festive period. The regular price in most places is £14.99.... found them on Healthy Direct for £11.99 and BOGOF!

Description of product:

Zinopin® is a plant-based natural remedy that can help to avoid the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) when flying and its kinder to the stomach than aspirin. Zinopin® contains ginger root, traditionally used to help quell motion sickness, combined with pharmaceutical grade French Maritime Pine Bark Extract . This can block the production of thromboxane which increases the stickiness of red blood cells and makes them more likely to clot. Each pack of 10 is enough for adults and children over 16 for a round trip take 1 capsule the day before departure, 2 capsules at least 1 hour before departure and 1 capsule per day for 2 days after arrival for each flight.

Limited Offer - Buy 1 get 1 FREE on this product. Simply add 2 items to your basket to get your second item absolutely FREE!

They also do free P&P on orders over £10.

*edit* Just noticed it states delivery normally within 10 days, so anyone wanting them for flights over Christmas may not get them in time. Still a great deal though

Don't drink alcohol before and during a flight, drink plenty of water and move around if you can. Get some of those elastic stockings. Most of all don't waste £12 on some hocus pocus rubbish.

This supplement is basically Pycnogenol which has plenty of scientific evidence to show that it does the same job as Aspirin. Just because it was not produced by some large Pharmaceutical Company does not mean it's hocus pocus, there are some well respected health experts who have recommended this product.

I agree with your precautionary advice which is mostly common sense, however I'd also prefer they took this supplement as backup, it certainly wont do any harm and might just do some good.

I really dont get why people feel the need to vote a deal cold just because it doesn't appeal to them. The fact remains you are getting this supplement for basically less than half the price of other places, so how can that be a bad deal?

It means a lot of people end up missing out on many deals as hotukdeals automatically lists the Hot deals, you have to click on "new" to see all the deals, which I'm sure many dont do as they think that the cold deals are not worth reading.

I have found many good deals that I've ended up going for, that have slipped by unnoticed by many, as other members voted them cold.

I'm sure it must put other people off posting the deals they've found, what's the point of going to all that effort when others will vote it cold and many will not even see it.
