Fox in socks on sticks on stocks on bricks on blocks...

Great deal but I loved Did You Ever Wonder How Lucky You Were the best, and Old Hat New Hat... and the christmas one with the little dog-bear kids that did ice skating - what was that one called?

My kids loved these books when they were small. good deal!

I love reading these to my kids - I really get into reading Green Eggs and Ham! Also, "Oh the Places You'll Go" has one of the best messages for life running through it that every kid (and adult) needs to understand.

And I'm only small myself, lol!

From what i've seen, I think about 22cm tall is the standard size for these books, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

I've just measured our ones - 22cmx16cm, so these are mini / half size books.

Don't mean to be pedantic but how is 16cm half of 22cm? ;-)

These ARE the mini hardback books - not nearly as good as the bigger softbacks. I ordered a set from the Book People a few weeks back thinking they were the bigger books (didn't read the small print!) and was most disappointed.

Are they the same stories though or shortened ones?

Original books are 22cm x 16cm. These books are 16cm x 11cm. Thus these are half the size of the original ones. Just like A5 is half the size of A4.

Haha...i see your point
Oh well, at least they are hardback and i'm assuming the stories are exactly the same?
#22
We've got teh hardback ones and they last really well. PLus, all of the pics are big & colourful anyway, so you're not really missing out on much either

See, bigger isn't always better...at least that's what I keep telling my wife

Same stories - full length, same illustrations and everything, just in miniature!

These Book People deals are great, I think I'd better not go for any more though or my son will be getting nothing but books for Christmas!!
#25
We bought these a few weeks ago. The books come in a little case. They are the small hback versions. Never worth £90+. Watch out which ones you choose to read at bedtime, some are much longer than others! lol.

I understand the books in this collection all have 64 pages. I also understand that these are mini books so everything is shrunk down.

Can anyone who has this collection answer this:
Since the original books have varying numbers of pages, how do they make each of these books exactly 64 pages? Is the layout of these books different to the originals?

Thanks in advance.
