Dr Who Phone Flashers - £3.90 delivered @ Firebox.com

Cheapest price inc delivery. Use one of the attached vouchers to get this price.

Description : Have you got a mobile phone? Do you love Doctor Who? If the answer is a double affirmative - you need a Doctor Who Phone Charm. Just like MoPods, these clever little charms flash and spin every time a call comes in. But unlike MoPods each transparent dome comes direct from Gallifrey by way of Skaro and contains a Tardis or a Dalek. And if you're a genuine Dr Who freak, it doesn't come much more iconic than that. It goes without saying that Dr Who Phone Charms come in handy if you're in a noisy pub, sitting on a clattering train or being attacked by Cybermen, but they also make brilliant desktop/work companions - especially if your phone is in silent mode.

I gave 3 of these as stocking fillers at Xmas, but with different characters in them,

they are called Mopods, all 3 broke within weeks, the base just falls off,
also they flash every few minutes as your or nearby phones "handshake" with local transmitters. I sent one back to Firebox but the replacement was faulty.
Hope you lot have better luck!

I bought a pengiun mopod a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't work with my Siemens Benq phone, nor with hubbie's Sony Ericsson. Did work with my friend's Nokia though.

Order one of these if you never want to pull again :giggle:

I bought two of these ages ago from firebox.

One seemed to break after about a day and just never wants to work again, the other sits on the shelf and does seem to work but it needs to be VERY near the phone...unlike the other flasher thingy on the shelf that will flash when it wants to most of the time.

Ha! Very good! I ordered one from Amazon recently as a Christmas present for my wife! She's a bigger Doctor Who fan than me!

I hope it works and I don't have the same trouble as other people have commented. Does anyone have one that they are happy with?

I had one of these on my Sony Ericsson K800i (and then on the K890). Both were on Vodafone & it didn't work.

My wife also had the k800i also & it worked on her T-Mobile network though - Just a warning that these devices may not like the Vodafone network for some reason!
