I believe so, but only the PC version of the game.
#4
Shame you won't get this delivered before the 30th.
Still waiting for a game that was posted on the 12th from play. :(
#5
Knew this would come down very fast with how bad the reviews and user review are.

Voted hot for price though.

PC Gamer gave Dragon Age 2 an excellent review
http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/03/08/dragon-age-2-review/

I tend to trust PC gamer as they don't tend to overmark unless they honestly like something - the latest review of crysis 2 was quite damning for example.

Don't let the reviews put you off - it is a good game and you connect with the characters and story - its flaws are its repetative dungeons / areas and lack of dialog options with party members. It's better than the first DA in many respects (and many games out there at the minute), but some areas are simply not up to scratch compared to the first or are too alien to fans of the first game.

I played through three times (although third time was just out of boredom and because I wanted the achievements) - but you will definitely want to play through it more than once.

this game may be bad but Mass Effect 2 is THE GREASTEST GAME OF 2010 still a great deal
#9
Good spot. Have some heat dude.
#10
good price, was £13 last week!
#11
my oh my, this games price is dropping faster than a hooker's knickers
#12
Don't let reviews put you off most reviews rated it bad because they compared it to first game if you never played the first game you won't be disappointed even if you did you may still like it and for a tenner you can't argue as your getting 2 games here. Its a great game I finished it nearly twice now and can't wait for DLC.
#13
Might as well give it a go, cant knock it for that price.

Bought this last week at £14. Really enjoying it so far.

Ok, the camera is annoying me a little bit & I sometimes get the impression that i'm not in control as much as I want to be & the inventory simplification is a little grating. I get the impression that the streamlining went a tiny bit too far - not a lot, but enough to irritate with comparisons to the first game.

However, these are very minor niggling points for me - I think it's a great game.

It's a bit like discovering an ugly spot on Kelly Brook's nose. The reviewers are focusing on the spot - I would prefer to focus on the fact it's still Kelly Brook!!!

At £10 it's a no brainer.

isn't mass effect 2 redemption a comic not the actual game!? can someone confirm if you get game or comic!? for £10 thats a very good deal just for meas effect yet alone for dragon age ii.

Dragon age ii is a bit of a car crash IMO, but thats only cuz they have cheapened it from original PC version
#16
No you get the game I got it the other day admitedly I paid £20 for the game (which I thought was a bargain anyway at the time) and then the ME2 email went out that they actually backdated as well (was gutted when I thought i'd missed out but they honoured it) I downloaded it 6.5GB download from EA lol
#17
Great price, 10 quid for both games! However, don't forget that you'll most likely going to spend another 20 quid on DLCs if you want to own the "full" ME2 and DA2.
#18
I don't see anything on the linked page about the mass effect 2 deal. Where is that?

Also, what does "Don't forget Quidco!!!" mean? It's my first time here.

1. The deal is organised by the game's developers, Bioware. Click the following link for more info: http://dragonage.bioware.com/ (Post dated April 5th)

2. Quidco is a popular cashback website, which gives you cash back for your purchases. Click here for more info: http://www.quidco.com/

Ok, for £9.99 I don't care about the reviews, I'll make my own mind up and take a risk with the game. I am sure I will find something I like. Thanks, OP, ordered.

Maybe for ME2 but DA2 only has black emporium (dull) which comes with the game anyway and one other character you can download for 800 bioware points (I think that was the cost anyway) but yes DLC is where they get you long term which is probably why they are substantially discounting now

hmm really tempted but only if can get mass effect 2 with it.
dont rate chances of getting delivered in time from past experience.

I reckon you'll be ok. The irony is that I only want DA2 and already have ME2, so I'll be getting a second copy to be binned. Same the other day with that Indie charity contribution where you get Trine - I had a boxed one already.

Whats going on its dropping every day.

yep but i think this has to be the time to buy as mass effect 2 isn't dropping fast if at all now.
so after the 30th even if it drops its still not going to be as good as this in terms of value until its under a fiver.

hope so, gave it an order and they say its posted so guess we'll see.

Don't worry too much about the reviews, they are too busy comparing to dragon age origins which I would have to say, is a very different game, only the back story relates now.

If you ignore that, dragon age 2 stands out as a very good game and have seen some reviews even say if it didnt have the dragon age name behind it, there would be no real negative reactions towards it.

So get it, you will enjoy it. I know I have been and am looking forward to more addons for it as time goes on.

I got the game just a week after launch via eastore online (thanks to a cokezone voucher) and getting mass effect 2 as a bonus two weeks ago was a very nice surprise, as I didnt expect it to backdate, but it did.

So yeah, go for it :)

Got my order, but absolutely no idea how to redeem free ME2.

got mine today too.
about my only good experience with play :)
just activated mass effect 2.
instructions suck.
think all i did was

load DA2.
go to downloadable content.
redeem EA code.
enter code that on the single sheet behind instructions inside game box.
that activates dlc in da2.
use that same code in box here : http://social.bioware.com/me2offer
gives you a code back which you use in eadm. (redeem game code at the settings wheel thingy)
for once i figured out something myself lol.

I ordered this.
Was well worth it, came today (4days after ordering, (including bank holiday).
My masseffect 2 is just about to finish downloading.
Was well worth £10 for both games.

I got mine this morning and, thanks to brilly's instructions I am downloading ME2 as I type. I was worried Play wouldn't get it here in time but thankfully they moved quickly on this one.

Told you it would come, Brilly. It came pretty quickly too. Thanks for your instructions.

yeah you said it would come but i have dealt with play before so couldn't be sure it would come at all never mind on time! :)
probably would have returned it if was late in fact.
glad instructions helped, wasn't sure they were fully accurate as did it a few hours before i wrote that.
