Someone that's played this... Is it any good???

Don't comment if you've merely read a review, i've done that... but the comments vary MASSIVELY!!!!

But surely that's what reviews are?... It's all personal preference anyway! I thought it was pretty average, I'd give it 50%. Games I like are COD, Batman AA, just to give you a means for comparison.

Finished it this afternoon, absolutely terrible in comparison to the first (which I liked), would not recommend. My local GameXchange are offering £25 cash for DA2 (bought it for £21 from GAME) so all's well that ends well.

Terrible game in comparison with Dragon Age Origins. Thoroughly disappointed.

Absolutely appalling game when you compare it next to it's predecessor but...
As a stand-alone game, it's actually complete trash. :(

I played 14 hours hoping it was just a slow starter but after that i could take no more; it's boring, repetitive and pointless.

Looks like GAME are price matching at the moment.

Does anyone know if GAME prices are the same in-store as online?

Seeing as you picked very similar games and no rpgs, it kinda assumes you would not be interested in this anyway?

pretty sure COD and Batman AA aren't 'very similar games' to be honest.

Still you might be able to get a free copy of Mass effect 2 (PC) if you purchase.
Surely that makes it a better deal.

Loved the first game (and expansion) on PC - awesome. Would have normally pre-ordered the sequel, but didn't for a number of reasons so decided to wait on the price to drop.

Have since played the demo of DA2 & thought I made the right decision. Initially got a bit seasick - all of the extra animations to make it look cinematic just made me feel like I didn't have any control (felt like a dumb console whack-a-mole game). Dissapointed, I tried the demo again & enjoyed it a lot more on the 2nd run through (mage character seemed more controllable, if that makes sense).

I'm giving it a go - especially at under £15. Expecting my copy to arrive today.

Did not enjoy the game play, the story line was ok but end sooo out of the blue!!

As im a fan of DA it was nice to play DA2, I rented the game for free, so played it and gave it back after 4 days.

He was talking about the games that "he" liked so that the op could see where his gaming preferences are and where his point of view is coming from
