PS3 - £49.99
XBox 360 - £49.99
PC - £34.99

I know this isn't the cheapest price it has been, but for those who forgot to pre-order the limited edition it's in stock here and only here.

These are selling on ebay for between £64.99-74.99 as they are really rare, so it may be a worthwhile investment.

Please don't vote cold because of the price - that isn't what this deal is about - it's about the fact that it is the only place where it is in stock.

Damn I paid £42 for this from shopto, it seemed to be sold out everywhere else.

Heat added :)

Showing as £49.99 now

It only contains a bit of DLC and was retailing at £25 in January. Voted cold. The retailers will be flooded with these things in the upcoming weeks.

It always was. The thread is to highlight the only place that you can still get hold of the signature edition.

Completely incorrect. This is a limited edition and they are only doing one run of the Signature Edition. Once it's gone it's gone.

...and as Base.com are the only retailer with any left I thought it worth posting this on here for people to buy, what will become, a rare game.

Josh:

I see the "Signature Edition" contains the following...

DAII Game Disk [duh!]
Premium Packaging (silver foil will be used) <- pleasant!
Coupon code to get the Day 1 DLC for free <- Hmmm... an issue for another thread, maybe

Plus...
Download Code for the Soundtrack
Exclusive in Game Items: Might of Sten (2 Handed Sword), Apostate’s Courage (Staff), Adder of Antiva (Bow), Seeker’s Bulwark (Shield)

Do you know if these items are going to be available for download at a later date?

One of my kids is likely to want this title towards the end of the year as a gift & I don't really want to spend £50 now (I don't really have to spend at present) to find that I can then buy the game for £17.95 & £5, maybe £10 more, to buy the additional items.

I appreciate you may not know, but perhaps somebody else (who follows the series) may do.

Thanks anyway for the deal listing.

(As you know I have used Base.com a few times before & never had a problem with their delivery times or packaging; so you may even get this tomorrow &, hopefully, in the same condition it was despatched)

I'm not sure about the soundtrack, as my "Collector's Edition" of Dragon Age 1 came with a DVD/CD with the bonus features on it, whereas this is DLC. For the extra items, I imagine that they will be unavailable other than using the exclusive code. That seems to be the norm in both the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series'.

Hopefully I will receive it tomorrow; not that I'll be able to play on it until next week as I'm away for the weekend - again!

(That'll also make it a week without having played Kilzone 3 Multiplayer - I wouldn't be surprised if a certain someone has caught me up by the time I next load up the game, even though he hasn't played it yet)

Bah - oh well, please expire this thread. Don't want anyone else "taking advantage" if it.

The above thread mentions the PC variant & that was ordered before today. It is not conclusive that the same offer is still running, or that the Xbox 360 & PS3 versions are available for a cheaper price.

PS, Thanks for your comments above.

Thanks (again); I cannot visit the site at present... it is "blocked" :(

Maybe this is why Base.com despatched as quickly as they did. You can still return your order under the Distance Selling Regulations once it has arrived, of course:

Yes, I thought that would be the case regarding not being able to access the web site.

Im aware of the Distance Selling regulations and the 7 day cool off period but I think I'll just keep my Base.com order though.

If you were happy with the price you paid & the item is in a satisfactory condition (to suit your needs) then yes, you have the risk of returning it & then not receiving another in the same condition.

Oddly, this deal listing still has more heat that the other... perhaps HotUKDeals members prefer Base.com.

Yes, I thought that odd too. From my experience with Grainger Games (in-store only) I have found them to be better than CeX but not quite as good as my local GAME in terms of product knowledge, keeping the shop clean & general customer service.

Obviously that won't wholly reflect the online side of the company, but ad the ethos is passed down from above I'm sure it has some bearing.

You mean you don't feel like you need a shower after leaving (like you do in some CEx branches)?

Precisely, just washing your hands would suffice upon exiting Grainger Games (or perhaps anti-bacterial gel).

I really can't stand CeX (That is "correctly" capitalised in case you were trying to hint at a mistake; although I do think it is stupid and should be CEx). I have never been in a more rancid shop. The smell as nauseating!

Much like Medal of Honor then? You can STILL find sealed copies in stores.

You really don't read much do you? The Signature Edition was originally only for people who pre-ordered the game before 11th January. It seems like Base.com and Grainger Games didn't receive enough pre-orders to "get rid" of all their stock and so after they're gone, they're gone. End of. A bit like with the Black Phantom Edition of Demon's Souls. After release there were none left.

I capitalise as I would expect to shorten "Computer Exchange" & as used to be displayed on the outside of their premises.

They may display their name as "CeX Ltd" on their web site, but Companies House does not recognise capitalisation in that manner. They do correctly state their actual Limited Company name on their site in just one instance (that I have seen); "C.E.X. LIMITED".

All this aside, I've only ever been in one branch, but I didn't stay long!

That's rich, considering that you are hiding under my bridge.
