Excellent price for the Dragon Age expansion pack on Xbox 360. Typically £9.99+ elsewhere.

Edit - PC version also reduced, but gets second billing as other stores do this version for a similar price.

Do you need the original game to play it? I sold that ages ago after I completed it, but I still have the saved game file

I believe the retail disc version of awakening on Xbox doesn't need the original game disc. The manual for Awakening only mentions the need for the Origins disc when using the Xbox Live Marketplace version of Awakening. So I think you'll be alright with just this.

Cheers OP, just ordered it. Considering Dragon Age is one of my favourite games I'd never got round to buying this. Can't turn it down for less than £6.

:D

very good expansion but also quite short but definitely worth a six poonds

Zavvi have just now slashed the PC version to £4.85. Not as special as the Xbox deal, but a few pennies cheaper than Game and Amazon.

Good price, but I am still hoping on the price of the Dragons Age Ultimate edition to drop to around 12 pounds...

Quoted from that zavvi page "Dragon Age: Origins required to play Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening" I reckon this is just a card with a code, therefore still the Marketplace version.

I'd be extremely surprised if that were true. As far as I'm aware, only the Game group stores are selling the cards with specific DLC codes on them.

I'd strongly recommend anyone who hasn't played Origins either to go for the ultimate edition. So much game for your money its unreal!!!
