"Bioware - of Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic fame - brings us what its CEO calls the "spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate". Now, if you're new to gaming that won't mean a vast amount to you. What will mean something is that Baldur's Gate is a near legendary Role-Playing Game (RPG), and that Dragon Age Origins - albeit a single-player game - sets out to bring as many hours of in-depth action as its ancestor. Your role is to save the world. However, unlike in other games of the world-saving type, you don't have to choose to be good in order to achieve this. No one's told you what to do with the world once you've saved it, so you could, by choosing to play as an evil character save it just for yourself. Not that you have to be evil throughout the game. Whether you choose to be a rogue, the warrior or the mage, you can make different choices as you move through the game world. These will effect the way in which the game itself plays out. In the Baldur's Gate mould, you also get to control non-playing characters (NPCs), ordering them to do your bidding, carry out specific actions and generally support your cause. Be aware, though, that once the player has embarked on the full game by entering the world from one of six introductory tales, they will experience adult themes. This is not a kids game of dungeons and dragons, faeries and elven folk."more..

Wow, bargain.

1 left now!

Thanks OP, I was interested in this being a big Bioware fan, and a big fan of Kate Mulgrew and also liking Claudia Black, Tim Curry and others. :)

Bit unnerved that I can;t find my order in order history on the website, but I'm sure it's fine as I have a confirmation email.

Edit: oooh! Tim Russ, Jim Cummings and Kath Soucie too! Awesome!

Yes but this doesn't come with the premium content that the Ultimate collection does so reckon it's still the better deal (incidentally I bought that one too and can't put it down!!)

Ordered, new customer, got confirmation email but nothing in order history.
Was new site for me so used credit card, doesn't bode well security wise though.

I feel the same! I didn't even have to use the securecode stuff or anything... you're worrying me now :(

I only have a debit card, but if something does go wrong I still don't think it's my fault as that looks like a pretty big company :/

order history updated, no idea if it'll come though.

Yeah I noticed no visa verify, as if the payment processing wasn't entirely online, but there are retailers that don't use visa verify.

I know play.com still doesn't verify which makes me feel better :)

Order history is now there for me too :)

Did you get the game in the end?

After waiting and waiting and having order history cosntantly disappear and reappear, I find that they CANCELLED my order!!!

Did this happen to you? I am so angry at them. I'd be really grateful to hear what yours says in order history and if you received it/had it shipped as I think you ordered just after me?
