Find the console versions for this price (new) and you've got a good find.

a 15 quid PC copy is hardly anything new and definitely not worth a post over - thehutgroup sites have had it listed at 15 since the new year.

Decent game for fans of the genre but no where near the kind of openworld joys you get from Oblivion.

If only the rest of Oblivion was more like Morrowind....

All seems a touch harsh, no-one's offered a cheaper option on it, and I didn't know it had already dropped to this price, so I found the post useful!

Only thing is I can't afford it now as I've just paid for a new PC from Novatech.

Still, hopefully means it'll only get cheaper for when my finances recover!

Am I the only person who did didn't enjoy Oblivion?

I really could not get into it but I am very excited for Dragonage, will buy it just as soon as I complete some other games.

I know what you mean - tried it like 5 times to get into it but it was a bit to repetative for my liking.

Go to portal, shut down portal.

As for this deal, its ok but waiting for this and the expansion to be combined before I buy. Not voting either way.

one of the best games of the past 12 months!!! Definitely up there with Oblivion; i even think this has a lot more re-playability than Oblivion.

Looks like someone got out on the wrong side of the bed!

Obviously of interest to other people apart from your good self looking at the heat.

I totally agree with you, this game doesn't come close to the open world and playability of Oblivion. Dragon Age Origins takes very little time to complete, and once completed the game is useless, it will not allow you to go any further in the game, and you have to start back at the beginning. I have to say I was very dissapointed with this title, the same goes for Fable (and yes I have completed this one as well). I have to say to anybody who is looking for this genre of game, if you haven't tried Oblivion - please do so, you can pick it up for pennies. You could play Oblvion for 6 months and STILL not get around it all, my son is stil playing it and he is lvl 49. IMO this is STILL the one to be bettered, excluded online games of course.

Open world joys? You mean nothing but parkland populated by endless identical dungeons made from a choice of just two themes? Oblivion wasn't great for an Open world game.

It's a different style of game though, some people will prefer this style, some people will prefer an open world game. Saying it's poor because it's not open world is silly.

Very little time? That's entirely unfair, Dragon Age is a huge game and it'll take you around 80 hours to play through it once, and Bioware have focused on choices so heavily it's worth playing through a second time.

It sounds like you bought it without knowing what sort of game it was and it turned out you didn't like this type of game, that's no reason to call it a bad game though.

I'd agree that it's not a hot deal though, several places have it at this price.

Unfortunately, consoles are on a subsidiary-based business model.
