I have this on 360 but it looks better on PC so I'll be picking this up. Cheers!
Any idea what else is in the offer?

It's the 3 for £10 they have always had for pc games. There's a huge variety of good games in this offer, mostly older but some newer ones too.
If you want a Bioware style action/RPG (when they used to make them) set in a medieval fantasy world (with dragons and stuff), buy The Witcher 2; it's vastly superior.
Great price, though... for a s**t game.

A shame it only scores 9.2 with IGN
Good deal................hope the 3rd is better than the 2nd
I think you've gotten this confused with DA2.... Origins was a fantastic game IMO. The sequel, not so much.

Either you are thinking of the wrong game or you know nothing about games ;)

"Terrible visuals, awful soundtrack, horrendous combat system, dreary plot and unmemorable characters" apart from the visuals not being amazing, you're chatting a big pile of doo doo.

EA games always score well; it means nothing. Mass Effect 3 received a number of perfect scores, and that was far from perfect.
I was naive enough to trust the reviews, which is why I ended up buying the Collector's Edition of this game. It was hugely disappointing.
I can't understand why people are so quick to defend this game. Either Dragon Age fans haven't played many videogames, so have nothing to compare it to. Or, out of some blind loyalty to Bioware, they don't want to admit that it's a terrible game, because the developer has done right by them in the past.
I just don't want people to make the same mistake as I did, because I was daft enough to trust the likes of IGN.

Well my second guess was right, you do realise that metacritic is people who have actually played the game, not just review sites ?
http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/mass-effect-3
as you can see mass effect 3 was far from perfect as reflected by the score given by players on the right ;)
All suggesting that it is you my friend who needs to play some more games and brush up on your gaming knowledge, your looking extremely game ignorant right now. Thinking there is some conspiracy why everyone enjoyed the game lol, rather than it being you who are the odd one out. Maybe it was just too hard for you but dont worry a little practice and you become better. Try starting off with some smaller games ;)

I don't base my opinion on reviews, I never read reviews for games. People are quick to defend this game because, it is a good game. I have to admit, when I first played it, I didn't like it, then as I got further into the game, I started to love it. I have no loyalty to Bioware, in fact I don't like what they did for Mass Effect 3, though that too is a good game, until the end that is.
Also, that's a bit rude implying Dragon Age fans haven't played many videogames... in fact, if the Dragon Age fans were long time Bioware fans, then they would have played plenty of games, probably more than you.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned IGN in my comment, and not metacritic. Your link to Mass Effect 3's metacritic score just proves that metacritic is ruled by fanboys. I remember when Mass Effects fans deliberately voted Mass Effect 3 down because of their disappointment with the ending. It was discussed on the Bioware forums amongst other sites. Perhaps if you'd done your research, you'd understand why that score is drastically lower than what the mainstream publications rated it. So, if Dragon Age scores well on metacritic, it's because fanboys want it to score well. There's no debating with fanboys due to their blind loyalty to particular franchises.

Those lists just prove you're not a very experienced gamer; you've only managed to clock up more than 30 hours on about 4 games, 3 of which are of the same genre. I think playing Call of Duty for over 75 hours has marred your perception of what makes a good game.
In all seriousness, if you could provide some evidence to prove my original statement to be false, I'll stop commenting. Just to recap, I said: "Terrible visuals, awful soundtrack, horrendous combat system, dreary plot and unmemorable characters"
If you need some help, a High Definition YouTube clip could prove how wonderful the graphics and sounds are, and a decent plot summary might help explain why you think the story is so good.

Mate, if you knew what my actual job is, you'll find that you are so so wrong, however, I'm not gonna break NDA's because some idiot on the internet see himself as the God of all gamers. You know why I clocked a lot of hours on shooters? because I play with friends on multiplayer, you know, having fun with friends after a hard days work? Also, it seems that you believe anyone who likes shooters are inexperienced gamers. You also seem to think that because not all games on my list have clocked hours up I haven't spent time on them, you know, before Steam, people bought games on PC CD/DVD ROMs which aren't linked to Steam, also people rebuy games on Steam for nostalgia when you know, people lost or no longer have the PC CD/DVD ROMs? And then the Steam sales, why wouldn't anyone just buy some games cause it's cheap. Also, on Raptr, you know it doesn't always clock the time played? But obviously, you know everything, so I am incredibly wrong on everything. Please, what is your list of great games that everyone needs to play to be an experienced, god like gamer like you!?
When have I ever said the graphics were wonderful, I think you need to go back up to one of my comments, I'll even tell you which number, it's 10, see what I said? thought not.
Some music for you, but you'll say it's terrible anyway:

Now you want me to waste my time giving you a plot summary to explain why I like the story? Yeah mate, I'll waste even more of my time on you, or, actually I won't because you'll just dismiss it anyway.

Dragon Age: Origins is just that the origins, the first game in the franchise. So because you cant use franchise fanboy excuse for that game you try and use some sort of Bioware fanboyism. All suggesting you are pathetically grasping for some sort of reason to defend your argument. Desperation comes to mind and just makes you look even more foolish. You are suggesting the whole of metacritic are Bioware fanboys and now even HotUkDeals is full of them according to you. I suppose we didnt land on the moon, Elvis is still alive etc. Conspiracy theorists eat your heart out.
Not one person has supported your view dont you think thats telling you something, or have the Bioware fanboys somehow gagged them all.
