Ever considered that a rubber casing on your tape measure might be beneficial if perhaps you were to drop it ?
Call me clever but it makes perfect sense to me !

draper have good quality control... these tapes are accurate to one tenth of a metre X)

draper have good quality control... these tapes are accurate to one tenth of a meter X)

Do these measure anything? If so then I'll have to see if I can pick one up, does anyone actually care what colour/material it is as long as it does the job?
