is this actually an impact driver or just a sales pitch for a rubbish electric screwdriver?? Impact driver means it hammers screws in instead of just spinning it??

the idea of an impact driver is to twist as you hammer, dislodging ceased scews on the likes of brake discs etc

I have the Bosch set. I do not recall there being an impact screwdriver in it.

looks like an impact driver to me.

I've avoid though, if it was only 22 quid in the first place, it can't be much good.

Cheap tools don't really do the job, something most people don't realise until they use a decent screwdriver or spannner. I'd definetly not be wanting to skimp on something I hold and hit with a hammer at the same time!

I would love to have everything snap on, but the reality is if you are an amateur mechanic, the amount of times these things will be used mean that they are good value for money!

These can be had for about a fiver in most motor factors, they will be as good as or better than these Draper ones...
