Just ordered this set with a screwdriver set. Need some decent tools but not too expensive.

Nice price, hot!

I've got some 'quality' Draper sockets that ripped on the first tough bolt they encountered - you're better off spending more money and getting something decent like the Halfords professional set.

You must be having a laugh. Draper Hi-Torq and Halfords!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi-Torq sockets do not slip if you use the correct size socket for the job.

I totally agree...I used to be a mechanic and unless Snap-on or Britool were to hand you'd try BB or other suppliers which were generally Draper

You don't beleive Halfords make their own tools do you? :-D

Think you'll find either Draper or similar rebadged

The only item I've ever managed to break from Halfords Pro range was a ratchet that started slipping. Several years old, no questions, Halfords replaced it. Try getting Draper to do that...

I have been using spanners for knocking on forty years and I must say how pleased I am with Draper Expert range.
For the money, I defy anyone to find better.

As for these, 11 reasonable quality spanners for less than £11 - has to be a good deal.
Heat added.

Yes, Halfords lifetime warranty only covers the 'brightwork'. Absolute joke. They really are taking the **** when advertising lifetime warranty.
