A good price ... but having used normal spades and forks in the garden for ages, the difference I found when I bought a stainless steel fork was fantastic.

I would therefore always recommend SS tools ... and after all, tools shouls last for many years, so the effective cost per year is minimal, beween cheaper brands and stainless steel.

But, from experience a cheap stainless spade or fork will not be as strong as a similarly priced carbon steel one.
