Yeah because Alton Towers never has had any crime at all has it....

Loads of muggings, bag thefts and the park has unfortunately had rapes reported on more than 1 occasion.

Thanks, we're going on Saturday was looking for a better deal than the online tickets, got Tesco deals for some of us, can use the above for the rest. I assume the exclusion for Bank Holiday Saturday Sunday and Monday's are for the bank holiday weekends as Saturday and Sundays are never Bank Holidays..!

We had a very bad experience with the travellers at Alton Towers on Easter Sunday last year. There were hundreds of them there - some annual meet up or something. They created a very bad threatening atmosphere and pushed my young children out the way to get on the monorail.

We visited Alton Towers on Easter Monday and stopped the night at Splash Landings Hotel. We heared some horror strories from hotel guests who stopped the night before at the hotel. It is true, every Easter Sunday, gypsies gather from all over the uk to have a gathering at AT. Apparently there was security all over the place and a large Police presence also. We were told that on Easter Sunday it was a case of spot who is 'not a gypsy' at the park. We had a lucky escape - it was reasonably quiet considering we went on a bank hol.

well i stand corrected. I had assumed drayton manor attracted the gypsies because of the camping facilities

Has anyone actually tried this. I just don't want to turn up there and have to pay £32. I would rather play it safe and get one off ebay. :)

USed it yesterday Sun 19June....the voucher is badly worded i nterms of "excluded bank holidays Sat, sun" - but as above this is just the bankholiday weekend.

Most of the other vouchers have expired - this one still good.

Faiz123 - this is on the visitengland website so no nee dto worry - ebay on he other hand could easily be faked.
