!00gm packs are around £4 per pack in stores

I orded 6 packs - 600gms for £13.95 inc P&P and u r supporting the RSPB at same time

Mealworms are a tasty treat that birds find irresistible.
Many species, especially robins and blackbirds, love these additive-free treats, which have all the goodness of live mealworms (beetle larvae) but not the moisture. Sprinkle as they are, or rehydrate by soaking in warm water for a few minutes. Supplied in re-sealable, recyclable pouches.

Firstly, RSPB are a fantastic organisation. I am a member and this half-price deal is good considering that all profits go to a worthwhile charity.

600g for £13.95 works out £23.25 a KG. I should point out that on Ebay you can buy 1.5KG for £19.97 delivered (£13.31 a KG) or 5KG for £59.99 delivered (£12.00 a KG), plus Topcashback.

Talking of Topcashback, they are offering 25.25% cashback for joining the RSPB, and the RSPB also give a free book or bird feeder with food when you join, so please do join wherever you get the food from. :-)

I was digging in the garden one day in March and he was so hungry he just approached me so as dug up worms I put them on the lawn for him and since then every time I go out he just comes up to me asking for food,

Have a robin that loves it when the soil is turned over, landing on my fork, but not yet my hand (dunno if I would like that though!). Also a blackbird, not as brave as the robin so gives it 'aggro' from afar (jealousy methinks). Funny though, robin' were so rare when I was a child, you only saw them at Christmas, if you were lucky. I remember it was such an event that the family would rush to the window to see it!

I remember that too when a Robin appeared in the garden, my Robin is very shy and tends to keep its distance, try putting food near an area where u sit the black bird will come once it gets confidence, meal worms and raisens are there fave food - good luck
