next best is £4.49 at ChoicesUK.

In the 1970s the American horror genre achieved notoriety with Wes Craven's THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT (1972), Tobe Hooper's THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) and Abel Ferrara's DRILLER KILLER (1979). DRILLER KILLER tells the story of an aspiring artist (played by Ferrara under his stage name Jimi Laine) who is driven mad by his struggles and the pressures of an urban life. Armed with a hand-drill and a taste for murder, he takes to the streets in a bloody rampage. This is a film that takes the viewer on a shocking, realistic journey into madness and murder. DRILLER KILLER was Ferrara's debut and combines the vengeful horror of his second movie MS. 45 - ANGEL OF VENGEANCE (1981), with the edgy and violent characters he so brilliantly portrayed in BAD LIEUTENANT (1992), THE FUNERAL (1996) and KING OF NEW YORK (1990). It leaves you questioning your own sanity and that of those around you.

I actually saw it on Betamax.
Never been bored enough again to watch this sort of junk in the 26 or so years since!
Doubt it has improved like a fine old wine!

Truly awful film, omg.

like a lot of so called video nasties . "banned" at a time when mary whitehouse would complain in the house of commons about an incorrect use of an apostrophe but later released

Compared to Hostel and 15 rated wrong turn and TCM 2007 would hardly rate a mention

"banned" actually weren't banned but they had no BBFC approval and simply did not seek that approval. Its like saying someone without a pasport has been banned form the UK ( in fact that analogy does not work as a passport is an optional extra in parts of lincolnshire )
