Good price but definitely the most overrated film of 2011.

Considering it was largely ignored by the Academy, I think that's a weird statement to make.

Personally I think it's one of the great films of modern American cinema (unless you're expecting Fast and Furious 6 - although what film can't be improved with a bit of Dwayne Johnson?)

Deffo one of my favourite films of last year and a cool soundtrack to boot.

Rubbish film. Not enough driving in it. ;)

Agreed, one of the most atmospheric moody films I've seen . Gosling is superb ,too.

I vote Senna! It's amazing because it's all real footage!

I can see why this film gets mixed reviews.

For a film called Drive it strangely lacks driving (of any interest) which is a shame. It also takes a while to kick in and reach some sort of action.

But it is a very stylish film with a great soundtrack.

Are there any good extras on this or is it just the film?

For anyone who hadn't seen it, heads up it's on Netflix US. I don't understand how this movie got a rep for being violent. It's really nothing beyond the ordinary for an 18. It's slow and atmospheric. 8/10 quite enjoyed itit

There was originally a lot more dialogue in the film but Gosling and Mulligan chose to remove most of it to create those atmospheric scenes.

An American woman actually tried to sue the film company for false advertising saying that they sold it like a F&F film.

This is an excellent film. Along with senna 2 of the must watch movies of the last 12 months.

    Purchase immediately.

Bargain! Best film of 2011! and I still watch it now and again! Soundtrack brilliant as well, really goes with the mood of the film.
I guess some people missed the point moaning about the "awkward silence parts"! Stick to Crank and Transporter!

Totally agree, anybody who thinks it is overrated just does not understand it! Each to there own but I feel sorry for anybody who cannot appreciate this masterpiece, the most watched film by me ever!
