Low price for the chance to drive a 10litre V8.
Was £149. Now £59

Looks like fun to me.

Fulfil a childhood dream with this fire engine driving experience! Savour the chance to learn to manoeuvre and drive a fully functioning Dennis RS fire engine with the lights flashing. Start with a briefing before jumping behind the wheel of the V8, 200bhp beast which has a top speed of 80mph. Kick off with 10 minutes tuition from an instructor learning how to drive and manoeuvre the fire engine. Then enjoy eight laps of driving around the circuit and experience the adrenaline of getting behind the wheel of the big red truck and feeling like a real life firefighter.

Availability

At least one weekday or weekend date a month throughout the year.

Minimum age is 18 and maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5', maximum is 6'4''. A full British or international manual driving licence is required (bring on the day to guarantee participation).

Do actually get to put real fires out, or is it just luck of the draw depending on which shift you choose? What if it's a major incident and you get retained on, if I like it, I might join. Heat added hopefully!

It's an HGV but I guess you are driving off road so don't need an HGV licence, these are usually auto's so apart from size pretty straight forward to drive
