Hot, waiting for the amazon price match!

is this separate from drive club or just like goty with upgrades?

Reasonable prices like this for a full-fat VR game make the headset price a bit easier for me to swallow.

is this separate from drive club or just like goty with upgrades?

This is a standalone game, you don't need the original Drive Club
#5
But do you get all the original Driveclub content as well as VR stuff?
Are you able to play this edition of the game WITHOUT VR headset if you desired?
Is this edition going to be the same as if you had the original Driveclub and purchased the VR addon ?

Anyone know the answer to these questions?

Cheers

From what I have read this is a stand alone game that is only for VR. You need to buy the original game if you want the original experience. I am not sure if this VR version of the game is playable on the tv without the headset. But it would offer a watered down experience. So it is best to get the original game which is cheaper on Amazon anyway. This VR one doesn't offer any upgrades other then the fact that it is for VR. And if anything things have been removed from this version

Why are you misinforming? what exactly has been removed and where is your evidence for this and also whats watered down?

The Game is 100% the original, with new urban areas, and new tracks as well as new game modes.

Driveclub VR is exclusively for PSVR and will require the headset to play. you can buy Driveclub on its own with season pass for about £15.00 or so.

But this is a good price for a hell of a lot of content.

I don't know all the details, but I do know for certain that the number of cars on a track has been reduced from twelve to eight. It's not quite the same as the original game, though I certainly don't think the compromises are a deal-breaker.

'Thankfully, the visual identity of DriveClub is intact here, but some of its more ambitious visual features appear to be absent. The impressive cloud simulation model is eliminated and weather is nowhere to be seen, while the number of cars on the track is reduced from 12 to just eight. Trackside detail certainly takes a hit in the form of more aggressive LOD popping where flat billboard trees are converted to full 3D models in closer proximity to the player. The world isn't as richly detailed as before, but the resolution limits of PSVR at least help conceal that fact to a degree.'

Spoke to a amazon rep and they said that the price is most likely to change between now and release date if that helps
I would say with this one it seems the price is more than likely going to change between now and release date.

Not sure whether to order this or get the upgrade. This will be £8 more, but will have the added bonus of resale value.

How much does an OR/Vive + suitable PC cost? It's apples & oranges. Driveclub VR also had extensive work done on it, it isn't just a patch of the base game.

got to play this in VR, holy poopy rolls, it was truly amazing! look to the left, right and behind while driving, and with Driveclub and the sense of speed, gave me sweaty palms.

this is probably one of a select few games that i am interested in, this and Resident Evil for sure.
