This product is just disgusting. If you are in that state you should not be driving, full stop.

Pull off at the next junction and have a kip/service station and get a room.

It does seem pretty irresponsible to me. You have to wonder how good your reaction times are in the minutes BEFORE your head actually tilts forward!

This is not a safety product; it actually encourages driving in an unfit state. :x

sorry chaps i dont aggree, have you never been on a journey where your not tired but everyone else in the car is sleeping its like when someone yawns to not to yawn after them

It's a precaution to keep you awake if you're not close enough to a service station or junction.

It seems like a good idea, but does anyone know if it actually works?

the amount of pot holes round here would be going off all the time!

this seems irrisponsible to be honest, pull over and rest. Seriously.

Hope im not on the same road as a person that thinks these are a good idea! COLD!!!!

Lorry Drivers cant just pull over and rest as things have to be there on time or it could mean the sack (if it happened to many times ) My dad works so many hours in his truck and he isnt getting any younger so I might get him one of these .

Hot from me, just because you buy one doesn't mean you're going to drive irresponsibly until you fall asleep at the weel. Just because you buy a smoke alarm doesn't mean you're going to start a fire on purpose.

Rubbish analogy. Buying a smoke alarm and then dowsing your house in petrol (simply because you feel safer now that you have a smoke alarm) would have been more appropriate.

Just think about it: You're on the motorway. You are sleepy. Your eyelids feel heavy, you stop concentrating. Your eyes close. Your head falls forward.

How long does that take before your head falls forward? 20 seconds? 40 seconds? More?

You'll have covered a large distance without concentrating before this thing goes off, but it's unlikely you'll be sending it back for a refund because you'll be in hospital or dead. I just hope you quietly drive off into a ditch and don't endanger anyone else.

As for getting in a car with the driver wearing one of these - no thank-you!
