I think a can of red bull would do a better job.

Wouldn't this go off every time you looked down to check your map/ find your sandwich/you get the idea?

It would end up in a central reservation on it's first trip out with me.

This is great, I wont have to pull up no more when I'm tired.

Will save a fortune in motorway services coffee.

Just hope when the alarm goes off I don't think its my alarm clock and roll over.

What happens if you fall asleep upright?

*Crash* *Kaboom*

Ooops....we never thought of that:?

And instead you crash because the alarm scared the crap out of you!

This reminds me of the sketch on Not the Nine O'Clock News for a headset that flashed a red bulb in front of the face of the wearer when the house phone rang, so deaf people didn't miss calls.

Maybe I am alone in this ;-)

head tilting forward...wtf...so will go off alot then unless i remain near motionless

Wouldn't want to put some headbanging music on then :)

Looks extremely comfortable.

Don't think you can wear this with spectacles:
on motorways will still be safer not to wear glasses and just this :-)

Is there a snooze button? On long motorway journeys i quite often put the car into auto and set the alarm on my mobile phone for say 20 mins. This is totally safe as i have the phone snoozing every 3 mins. Only problem i've came across is missing my junction. It would be better if they had a "wake up its your junction" alarm. Lol

If you don't die from falling asleep behind the wheel then you'll die when you get the fright of your life with this thing going off and crash into another car out of panic.

In the words of the dragons "I'm Out"

Who ever thought this would be a good thing to make, the designer of the chocolate fire guard I expect.

If you are tired, don't drive, end of.

I love the no more sleeping at the wheel quote as if people do it regularly and its a minor inconveniance! :w00t:

They had this on Top Gear a couple of years ago....and came up with all the flaws people have mentioned here....specifically when you move your head down for any reason, it goes off. Absolutely rubbish product.
