While many of the questions are common sense, there's plenty that aren't or people don't have any exposure to - off the top of my head I can't say what the break distances for a 1970's Ford Anglia are (although I know my own car can stop in considerably shorter distances) nor can I tell you what sequence of colours the cats eyes are on a motorway. Common sense doesn't seem to apply that consistently to the hazard perception test either, hence when recently resitting my theory test (motorbike this time, car before) I spent a tenner on a piece of PC software. While I could have probably passed without it for the sake of ten pounds (or less as I sold it on) I thought it worth the money to ensure i passed.

At this price, it's probably as cheap as picking up the book to study from.

IAWTC that it's mostly common sense, but a few of the questions are trickier and as the test is 40 quid a pop now (or similar), I'd rather know my stuff and only have to go once

all the information you need it on the highway code you get given free, surely?

My DD has learning difficulties and will be learning to drive in the next few months so this will prove invaluable to her - thank you for the post, I ordered it straight away. This will be a lot easier to use than trawling through the book endlessly, a lot easier to do it this way when she has borderline dyslexia. Thanks again.

Well worth the money to help you pass your theory and much better than studying a book. Voted hot.

It's not about the Highway Code.

Preparation for the theory test is about finding a book or interactive training source and going through the questions time after time after time until you know every answer (easy enough as it's all multiple choice). Preparation is not about making sure you have the sense and intelligence to do the right thing.

Anyone know if this is worth buying for the motorbike theory? I know it has it on just wondered if anyone has used it for that
