The DSi XL is launching first week of march so this should have some sort of affect on the ds lite & dsi prices hopefully.

That's unlikely, as the Nintendo DSi is still selling strong after the launch of the DSi XL in Japan.

Hot and would be tempted had I not picked up a not required competition prize from a ex colleague a month ago

Anyone know if they're selling just the black one for £75? My son wouldn't appreciate pink, and I don't need Prof Layton.

They should be £50 now IMO. And even that would be pushing it. Nintendo know that they can sell both the wii and DS for almost as much as they want. Its amazing how nintendo have turned themselves around. I had a gamecube and gba and in that time, atleast on the home consle front, it seemed that nintendo were doomed. I was never happy having a gamecube as it was the odd ball console that never had GTA, decent driving games and many others. And when it did get multiplatform games it would always get the worst version and usually just a port of the ps2 version even though the GC was a very capable machine and could rival the xbox graphically.

And it couldnt play dvds or really go online in anyway practical way, so i swore that i would never buy another nintendo console and got a psp and a ps3. And btw, the PSP is an excellent handheld. Sadly underrated, but it can produce console style games on a handheld. It also has the ability to play all of the ps1 back catalogue either officially from psn or if you install cfw then you can play games from almost all consoles upto the ps1. Its also an excellent mp3 player, movie player and reasonable internet browser. Also has skype if that interested you, also can use it to access your ps3 from anywhere in the world and if your ps3 has play tv then you can watch and record eastenders anywhere in the world. And if the ps3 is networked with your pc then you can access the PC files on your psp.

get a psp!

None in the BANBURY Sainsbury's btw, they only have DSi's. Had to go to HMV where they have the Lites for £79.99 :-)
