My first deal post so hope it's of some interest to someone...

Bought a Matrix black glass TV stand from Argos yesterday that someone else posted, ideal for 32" LCD/Plasma TVs. We then went into Sainsbury's and lo and behold found the above 3 tier black glass TV stand discounted from £49.99 to £24.99.

Couldn't believe it! It's ideal for up to 37" but can hold up to 55kg on the top shelf that it suits my Sony 40" LCD TV very nicely. Snapped one up right away and will be on my way back to Argos today to get a refund on the other stand - £10 more saved as the other was £35!

This unit has shelf areas which just about covers the width of my 40" TV so no overhang and it even has holes in the back of the glass shelves for cable management! Plenty more room for a couple of games consoles and an amp etc.

Hope this is of help to people looking for a nice looking black glass stand for their TVs!

I've taken a couple of pics.

One of the shelf price:

Sorry, don't know how to link any other way on here.

Hope this helps.

I remember that they are also doing a 2-tier black glass TV stand, same make and size but for £19.99 still a bargain I thought!

I just posted the image location from your link into the "Insert Image" icon, that's the one that looks like a picture of a mountain.

Better guide here

Hi,

I've only gone from the measurements given on the box and the measurements of my 40" LCD TV so I haven't got it all assembled and set up yet. I've got to clear out my games/cinema room before I can get the stand up which I'll probably be doing tonight or tomorrow.

I'll certainly take a pic of the unit assembled once it's all up and post it here. As you said, it'll sharpen my picture linking skills!

Cheers! :)

Hot, hot , hot :-D

Anyone any idea what the width across the front is ? Thinking of buying one but don't want any overhang of my telly.

Hey, is there any chance you could post the measurements of this please? I've only got one place for a unit like this & I'd hate to find out that it's just that little bit too big

Good deal. Heat added:thumbsup:

This is a fantastic deal! Recently bought a similar stand for £68 from ebuyer - should've waited and bought this instead.

This stand is almost identical to the deal below. I bought 2 of those at £35 each and can recommend highly. £24.99 is almost like getting it for free. The stylish looks and build quality would make you think the unit costs around the £100 mark. Get one while you can as these Sainsbury's offers tend to last only a few days before the items become 'out of stock'.

looking at the pictutre the cable management is just holes in the glass at the back so they're still going to be visible.

i got the matrix one from argos today and my 32" toshiba looks perfect on it
