First time post, so please be kind.
Just picked up a Dual (that's the name of the box, not dual tuners) freeview box with HDMI output transmitting HD quality video and audio to a HDMI ready tv (or so the box states, haven't plugged it in yet to check) for £29 instore at Asda Wigan, reduced from £34.

Description from box:
Output up to 1080i for high quality viewing.
7 day programme planner.
Twin scart sockets.
Remote control with batteries.

Inlcuded in box:
HDMI cable (about 1.5m length)
Scart cable, RF cable, remote with batteries, instruction manual.

Couldn't find any information on asda website or online about the freeview box, but will post back when get chance to try it out.

won't be until after the final switchover in 2012 till we see any real HD content on Freeview due to band with restrictions, BBC and ITV were launching a combined deal where they would stop transmitting certain channels to free up bandwidth for HD content

At the moment, the government is refusing to give a licence for HD on freeview. Murdoch thinks people should pay him instead.

Ditto, I always felt he was'nt really mentally maladjusted and was putting it on, thus depriving a real nutjob a place in the asylumn.
