No sorry , they are almost impossible to build and upgrade. Still a nice 21.5" screen though.

Not sufficient saving to warrant using such a crappy PSU. I would seriously recommend anyone thinking of this to buy seperately and getting something like the Corsair 430CX also to be honest at this price range I would consider going the AMD route for the processor, much better bang for buck

Agreed!!!!!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
cant vote it hot. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD means this will struggle playing youtube, let alone DVD or HD content.

This 3 1/2 year macbook I'm typing on now has got a **** X3100 and plays Youtube and DVDs without an issue.
The last machine that I owned that I recall having a problem with DVDs was a P2 400mhz IBM laptop that I had, and PowerDVD recommended 600mhz. To put it lightly, the machine in this deal is far better than that.
HD x.264 content is possibly hardware accelerated on HD youtube/iplayer etc anyway? If not, then won't the CPU be able to take the brunt?
According to Scan's website this has an X4500, not a 4500MHD. Either way it will play Youtube and DVDs fine, but I'm beginning to think your post is a bit misinformed.

Better value getting a dell ;)
However, seems a good deal if this is exactly what you are looking for. Howver, the £22.09 saved might easily be saved by ordering from different suppliers. The case and powersupply are weak links and I would avoid
You get bare basic parts in Dell and they are hideous. Fisher Price is better than Dell.

Dell?!?!?!??!? Boy, must be smoking something illegal. Don't touch Dell with a barge pole unless you want certain death. Dell sucks so hard it's unbelievable. If anything goes wrong, you're finished. When you home build you know what's what and nothing is propietary like Dell. Dell Inc more like Hell Inc.
I must be the lucky one who bought dozens of Dell products and not had a failure... lucky me.

Completely agree with this though. Most people underestimate the importance of a good PSU (not necessarily an expensive one, just a good branded one rather than the no-name cheap junk they throw into most of the cases).
Last I checked Linux was free? Or maybe people already own a retail copy of Windows that they can migrate to this PC?
Unless you mean having to buy Windows 7, in which case find us as good as specced PC as this with WIn7 for less than £330 so some people have a reason to vote cold.
And what is preventing the CPU from handling the load?
D'Oh.
This will play anything from YouTube HD all the way up to 1080p MKV's.
I've owned multiple Dell PC's/laptops over the years, and had very, very few problems.
One PC had a GPU failure, and a phone call one morning resulted in me getting a replacement card at my door the next (was a cheap desktop with standard warranty).
My new XPS 17 came with a US keyboard instead of a UK one. They promptly sent an engineer the next day to replace it (again, 4yr - but standard 5 day fix warranty).
So, I can honestly say you are talking utter crap. The service I've received from Dell has been top notch.
I also build systems for myself for myself and other people, so agree that is the better way to go. But the Dell bashing is unfounded, and I presume you are just joining the crowd of Dell bashers just for the sake of it.
