You'll wish you bought the original Sony charger stand though and probably will in the future. £25 from Tesco.

I doubt it. £3 is worth a punt IMO.

Still think all these docks are a waste of money when you can just use the usb lead.
banned#5
They don't look like they charge by fiddling around getting the controller into a port?
#6
Bought. Cheers.

Two leads actually for two controllers. So 2x USB ports,

With one of these you can use just one USB port. Might not bother you but not everyone will have 2 x spare ports where they plug there controllers in, I plug my dock into a spare port on my TV so controllers charge when my TV is on. I use a dual dock that charges my PS4 controller and my Vita together.

Thanks op. Ordered and heat added.

Been after one of these for a bit but wasn't gonna pay big money for it so this is perfect. Cheers OP.

A: I have one controller
B: what else do you use the ps4 ports for?
C: I just plug my controller into my ps4 after I finish playing, the ps4 charges the pad while its in sleep mode while I'm off doing other things.

Game sell the official charger for £40 in store and £25 online the robbing bar stewards.

Voted cold, rubbish product stops working after a few days. Using the std usb cables now much better & far cheaper. Don't waste your money

Ive got neat collection of charging docks for my ps3 controllers/xbox one controllers/vita/mobile phone and ps4

just find it neater than cables everywhere
#14
I use to plug leads out the back of my virgin media box and that was adequate but these stands look neater in my opinion and at that price you can't grumble

Just checked eBay. The Seller has sold 453 of these and has NO 'Negative' feedback on them and only 2 'Neutral' feedback. Surely those figures would have been higher if the product was the 'rubbish product' you claim it to be!

I'd say most people don't want USB cables hanging out of the front of there PS4

Can't argue at that price.. it is only a USB dock is I really don't understand why the Sony one is a must. I'll be using the USB on the back of the machine and the dock/cables around the side of it.

Thanks for the heads up. heat added

Be a bit cautious plugging these cheap things in expensive items. It only take one bad soldered wire in these and piff paff puff £300ish console up in smoke. Not worth it to me.
#20
I have this one bit of a pain trying to get them to sit right worth every penny. Hot
#21
Ordered, thanks OP. Worth a try at 3 quid.
#22
hmm batteries + cheap charger is not a risk I would take. Far too many house fires due to faulty/crap chargers.
#23
I bought the Gameware version of this. After a few days I stopped using it. They use the mirco USB port on the top of the controller, which is pretty difficult to plug into the stand. I bought 2x 3Meter cables which work so much better.

The Sony offical charging dock uses the base of the controller, which is meant to be easier to plug in blinded from view.

I'd avoid the product above, but I'm not voting either way.

Absolutely agree.

Buy the official one instead at £25 you wont be disappointed.

Uses mains also so no usb slots taken up

Poppycock

just bought it thanks op

These seem like some cheap, generic, unbranded docks which have the potential to be a detriment to your controllers and lead to cashing out much more than trying to save.

As you said, plug it into your tv or wherever charging ports you have, my point still stands that its a pointless device and waste of money.

im not disagreeing with either of you, but if you have first hand experience of this product, could you let us know what the problem with it is?

i bought a non ps4 charging lead for my ps3 2 years ago (Was an extra long lead ) thought it was great until it completely knackered both my controllers up.I would stay well away from cheap products for expensive controllers!

I guess a lot of people here have never heard of Mains/USB plugs.
I have several which are:
INPUT:AV 100-250v~50/60Hz
OUTPUT: DC5.0V + 5%
MAX: 1000mA MIN:150mA
which are suitable for this item.
Charge the controllers without plugging into a PS4
#34
I thought the PS4 didn't charge while turned off? How would this be any different?
#35
I wouldn't
#36
anyone recommend a mains charger?
#37
This will screw the USB charging sockets up on your controllers in no time at all. I wouldn't.
#38
I had one of these and it broke straight away. The quality is flimsy and the micro usb input at the back broke off before I could even use it. You get what you pay for to be honest.

people leave feedback on day one when they receive the item so maybe after a few days they might of regretted giving positive feedback

some people just leave a positive feedback as soon as their item arrives but regret it later
