Trade in your old toaster for a car.

IT sounds too good to be true - but Phoenix Group are promising to consider absolutely ANYTHING for a tradein this weekend. They will be casting an eye over offerings from exercise bikes to toasters in partexchange for cars from their showrooms.

Phoenix's John McGuire John McGuire is the name of:

* John A. McGuire (1906-1976), U.S. Representative from Connecticut
* John J. McGuire (1917–1981), American author of science fiction
* John McGuire (actor)

said: "We expect to be inundated in·un·date
tr.v. in·un·dat·ed, in·un·dat·ing, in·un·dates
1. To cover with water, especially floodwaters.

2. with exercise bikes from the spare room, drum kits from the garden hut and the campervan that's seen its last family holiday.

"But it's all fair game."

The offer applies to Honda (including motorbikes), BMW BMW
in full Bayerische Motoren Werke AG

German automaker. Founded as an aircraft engine manufacturer in 1916, the company assumed the name Bayerische Motoren Werke and became known for its high-speed motorcycles in the 1920s. , Mini, Motown, Hyundai, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Mazda and Kia.

Phoenix will give a special prize to the person who comes forward with the most unusual trade-in.

But be warned - no wives, grandmas or pets.

the best toasters i have had are ones around the 20 quid mark,i stopped buying expensive ones as they were binned after a year or so due to breaking down or burning one side and hardly toasting the other side, this is a rip of price for a toaster

yeh i reckon he must be 100 years old as i dont remember this, weirdo if you ask me....................

"Remember when you were young and your granny used to toast your bread under the gas grill on top of her oven. Remember the butter melting gently into the bread. Remember biting through the crunchy top layer into the soft underlying warm bread!!!! Remember thinking that you would never taste toast like that from grannies Cowan and Parkinson Super Oven with 42 flame "stand up" and Grill facility ever again!!!
Well, the Dualit produces toast just like granny.

Probably the most important toaster ever created. Excellently made with no frills, not even an annoying pop up. A wonderful manual timer that gets progressively faster at the end and the joyous "CLICK" to let you know "it's ready" (Oh joyous CLICK).

There is one draw back though. I keep getting reminded that I spent £140 on a toaster every time the wife wants something!!! But she's worth every penny!

Long live the Dualit. Long live Toast.

Shaun (East Yorkshire) "
