Fell for this scam a couple of years ago from Debenhams.

Took the order and payment only to cancel the order several weeks later. Not so much as an apology for not being able to fulfil the order, just a notification of order cancellation. NEVER again will I order from these muppets.

I know what you mean. But I have been pleasantly surprised over the past few months. I haven't had a single out of stock since the site has been revamped. Got one ordered, here's hoping!

this is duck FEATHER which is not the same as duck down, it's heavier and less 'cloudlike'

I agree , i vowed never to shop with them again after lots of cancelled orders and messed up refunds but i have tried again and had no problems with my last 3 orders.

Title very misleading. Feather is much heavier than down.

Hate 'duck feather filled'! Always feel the quills through the sheeting and the feathers all bunch up in the little pockets leaving 'thin' areas on the duvet.

exactly. I had 2 debenhams duck feather filled pillows and it was like sleeping on straw! Went straight back. I suspect these will get returned to by disappointed buyers above.

Have had good qulity feather duvets and pillows and never had this problem. Fogarty are a good brand, and maybe the problem lies in the fact that it was a cheaper Debenhams own brand. Feather is heavier (but not that much), and some people prefer a slightly heavier duvet.

Yes 'down' is a more premium product, but you'll back considerably more for a 'down' duvet. You're going to be paying £27 for a decent branded feather duvet (in fact two duvets). That is very, very good value.

As usual, some HUKD memebers want the earth for a fiver.
