You need to sort that pic out, that's the full size one not the compact the deal refers to.

anyone got one of these? can you use any paint or do you have to buy the paint pod paints?
seems a good price, some one must have tried using other paints, any feedback

I wouldn't bet on that, they're more likely to go "ooo I've seen those they're like £60 normally, hot", where as the compacts are a lot cheaper to begin with :whistling:

Still a good price mind.

Has to be the paint pod paint, the full size ones are surprisingly good. Haven't used the compacts through, but it's the same principle.

it does say attach to paintpod emulsion - so i am banking on buying one then refilling it with other stuff

maybe someone will post whether you can

its worth a try - if not it goes back:thumbsup:

You would have to buy at least one 'paintpod'. You could theoretically refill it with other paints, but don't be surprised if it clogs the system up. Also, you'll struggle to get a colour match, even the regular Dulux paints are not an exact match.

I have a full sized paint pod. You have to use the paint pod paint. While they are slightly more expensive they work out to be excellent value for money. I managed to paint all the ceilings in my house twice with one paint pod.

cheers op....missed the £10 one.

here here - we could do with a full sized one ourselves.

My experience of these when painting the ceilings is that they leak everywhere, paint down your arms, not good at all.

Normal paint would be a lot thinner than the Dulux stuff and probably cause even more grief.

Not voted either way.

Funny this came up im in process of painting my hall with the full size one of these. no problems doing ceiling so far, only mess I got was caused by me with the brush and the edging cup. Cleans very easily so if the full size not much more than this I would go for that as it also comes with the edging brush included.

I'd recommend paying the extra and getting a full sized one. I've got a full size one, and picked up a compact as the room I'm decorating is two colours. Typical woman decision there!

The compact uses 6xAA batteries, which are supplied. Using these, it ran out of juice after painting an area of roughly 4x14 feet. The compact also doesn't come with any of the accessories; no edging brush or container. Following the instructions, it says to use the paintpod to pour the paint into "an appropriate container".

I'm not voting cold on the deal, as I'm not sure how much they are elsewhere. I'm just advising to check the price of the large one before making this purchase.
