It has had very bad reviews, and you pay a premium for the paint

Mine's sitting in the garage after being used only a couple of times. It's likely to live there forever now. When I used it, paint dripped, spread was uneven, it was messy and the switch between the roller & discharge nossle ( to fill up container for edging) was messy. The 'self-cleaning' process was not very good at all I stil had to spend some considerable time scrubbing & cleaning to get it back to a satisfactory state.

It was pretty good for very large areas, but little use for small / awkward areas or ceilings in my opinion. I ended up reverting to a standard roller & 'hoofed' the POD out to the garage, but still used the 'paint pod' paint - it is good because it dripped very little if at all.

Ended up buying paint wizard pro - still in its box but we'll see how that compares. That at least appears to be able to use standard paint. Plasticy alternative, but seems to work OK if you read the reviews etc.

This is a good deal for the POD in terms of what you pay elsewhere, but I'm afraid I can not recommend the product so I'll abstain from voting. :|

Rep to OP for taking the time to post though.

listen, dont buy this paint pod.
they are simply awfull to use, with poor coverage, and a nightmare to clean, even though it says thats the best bit!! the paint is so thin to run through the little tubes you have to go over it bout 3 times, and then to clean the tubes and roller i had to run the clean system 4 times and then finished of by hand before i put it straight back in the box to take back to b&q for my £50 back, spend your money on good rollers and brushes and get a tin of good quality paint and crack on like mum and dad use to all them years ago!!!

thin is you are better off with a normal roller with an extenson pole for ceillings (and a brush for corners)....doesnt take long with a roller anyway

And on that note.... I've been asked to paint somebodys bedroom, and they've kindly bought one of these. My response was to buy 10l of Wickes trade and a brush and i'll do it

For anybody who has one of these, how do you cut in at the ceiling/skirting board? You can hardly dip a brush into a sealed 'pod'.......

There is a little paint pot and brush, you remove the roller and pump the paint into the pot. The brush is the only good thing about this thing. It gives patchy coverage I have done 2 rooms and they look sh**e. Stay well clear of this even if they gave it away its not worth it as you will have to redo the room old style :x
