Perfect iron to watch Made and Chelsea whilst ironing a variety of clothes with large abstract writing on.

Dare I say this iron is hot?
Bought one 6 months ago, amazing iron. The coating is excellent and the amount of steam it can generate is insane.

NICE!! :)

Example of a duvet set, £8.00 single, £10.00 double, £12.00 Kingsize.

I purchased this in Kingsize from the Hull store and they still have a couple in stock as well as matching cushions for £6 each reduced from £20!

Also, purchased a double bed sheet reduced from £9.99 to £4.99. Lots of stuff cheap at the minute.

No vent on the bottom for airflow on these, it smothers the charcoal.
In my experience using mine, I've not found it an issue though probably easy to bang a few holes using a Hammer and nail.
Have you heard about these new fangled drill things?

The availability of spares looks pretty good to me. I always find customer services to be most helpful but then I find the best policy is always be nice to them and customer services will be helpful to you. My only complaint of the Shark website is it's really slow and takes too long to browse from product to product. It takes about eight seconds to load a page and that isn't down to my internet speed. As you are a Shark specialist Sam, perhaps you can relay the feedback regarding their website as well as what the public think of their products. Had another go with mine last weekend. I have the turbo brush now. Extremely good. Biggest test on the car this weekend.

Whilst it's clearly cheap, it's also a Shark vacuum which means you probably lost UNLESS it was free.
They have a HORRIBLE reputation for badging cheaply made goods and selling them using lots of TV ads and pseudosciene
They have a TERRIBLE reputation for customer service
The Reddit vacuum guy once said "there's no such thing as a BAD vacuum - just better and worse ones - oh, except for Shark's, obviously, they are junk"
YMMV
This is the best vacuum I've ever used, but thanks for the informed comment.
We used ours the day after we had cleaned with our Dyson and it picked up loads! So much for the Dyson (_;)
This is a fallacy you see with many items - it's common with vacs but applies to allsorts of stuff.
People say "I used X and then I used Y and it worked really well so X isn't working properly"
Problem is, if they'd used X again instead of Y it may also have worked well - your old vac may well have picked-up loads too - you proved nothing (you made yourself feel better about the purchase tho - and that's lovely)
End of the day, everyone's needs in a vac are different - different surfaces, pets, other habits and your expectations matter too. If you like a vac - great - doesn't mean others will. I once used my Aunts vac and she asked me what I thought - I'd thought it was light and cleaned well - she explained she HATED it, thought it was awful at cleaning and weighed a tonne. YMMV
My personal problem with Shark is they're 99% about marketing stuff they don't design/make and sell at a markup with poor customer service and the products are often impossible-to-repair due to lack of spares (which, again, is fine for cheap vacs - but Sharks aren't cheap vacs normally) - they are what I call 'As Seen on TV" goods, marked-up gimmicky short-life tat for the most part (but there are always exceptions - someone, somewhere has one which has cleaned oil tankers for a decade!!)
You could try actually reading the guarantee, contacting customer service, or taking a look at the quite blatantly very good (and reasonably priced) availability of spares on the Shark website before making ill-informed comments.

Rubbish deal.

Sorry.

:|
Good find op, I'm sick of my black round bin from asda as my 18 month old can open the lid-gross! Would love to get this as sounds child proof, but not sure what to do with the existing bin which still works oO
Recently bought this from amazon, blends in nicely with black/darker coloured units and the dimensions are perfect to fit in many kitchens. The foot lever works well too, unlike some curver ones which break easily. Normal bin bags are fine too, I wouldn't bother with the simple human ones as they're pretty expensive.

Blimey, I have become domesticated...

Had a play with one of these in JL / HoF / BHS, I can't remember which and the pet proof clip on top is awful, it was a similar price when I was looking, tried about four of them and each one the clip was really stiff to put one. Put me off sadly :|
May have been a dodgy one. Mine is really easy to put on but not so easy for my 2 year old :3

There are stands with blinds in dotted around the shop in Lincoln. I bought a couple last weekend but both had manufacturing defects. One had a locking mechanism that had been strung incorrectly so it was impossible to lock up, (that was fixable by cutting the cords and re-routing) but the fabric of a blind with vertical stripes had been cut so badly it looked more than a bit seasick as it unrolled. It would be helpful if they put a sticker on these sort of bargain deals as they know they are defective but I guess they hope people can't be bothered to bring them back.
Don't they usually Mark them with clearance stickers and state the fault on some items? Noticed that with some items in the leeds store... plus they will reduce items further if u spot a fault on a product. I got a black stool for 50p as it was the last one but it had a small dent so that wasn't bad I thought
That's what I'm saying, there was no indication these were defective blinds - and they weren't being sold cheaply enough to suggest they were. With the dent in the stool you could see that before buying, not so easy with blinds. They're stapled into their pack at both ends for one thing, let along pulling them out and unrolling them. Nah I think they should clearly label stuff they know has a fault. The dodgy vertical stripe one I brought back probably went straight back on sale for the next mug.
You're right. You should have complained, it's just the hassle of buying something only to find its faulty and the hassle of returning it

Ordered and collected. More number are available in Leeds and Wakefeild.
Was able to reserve one in Ashton under Lyne store..girl at till said they have a pallet full..hopefully that may help someone :)
They are now sold out in Peterborough, but available in Wellingborough. I agree, they are quite powerful, and great for corners, stairs and right up to the skirting boards. Better than my older Bissell which is still working.

I like Dunelm, they have the odd bargain (if you look v hard!). We even have a brabantia letter box but the price of this is just nuts. It's to put your rubbish in!
Don't buy! Just wait till one of the bullet flip lid top bins come on sale again. I paid a couple quid for ours, reduced in B&Q, real bargain, they're good and do what it says on the tin (bin!). Be careful though, you can get ripped off even for these - Tesco is charging 9 quid for them! £2, good deal. £9 is just taking the mick, but then there are loads of Micks out there and Tesco know it! :D
Tesco bin, don't buy - too dear. Like the brabantia one.http://www.tesco.com/direct/45l-kitchen-bullet-bin-black/634-2932.prd?skuId=634-2932&pageLevel=sku&sc_cmp=ppc_sh-_-sh-_-tesco-_-634-2932&gclid=Cj0KEQjwmKG5BRDv4YaE5t6oqf0BEiQAwqDNfNGzU2tBt6rlDiyX39pOolZRY1O4rnnHFySh31Q7I-oaAm2b8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds
