The DVD set contains the original script for the final episode, so you can read all about what was intended, and find out who Venger really is. Not that we hadn't guessed already. It's better than nothing.

why didnt they finish it?

I remember many years ago a mate of mine paying about £30 for someone who had managed to find all the episodes and put them on disks for this TV series on fleabay... she loved it! haha!

DID THEY EVER GET BACK HOME? No? The poor things :-(

Tell us the ending!! Did they get home? Who was Venger? Suddenly I have to know!

On a slightly different matter, did anyone ever see the episode of roadrunner where the roadrunner was caught and then the coyote set him free again because he had nothing else to do but chase the roadrunner. I'm starting to wonder if I imagined that episode, although I'm convinced it was real!

I think you're thinking of another cartoon that features a roadrunner and a coyote. Can't remember what it's called - I think it's called The Bird That Couldn't Slow Down.

If you really want to know:

The children didn't exactly get home.

Dungeon Master's test, and Venger's plan, was to turn the children's powers against each other, as they were the only things strong enough to compete. The children argued, split into two groups, and both groups try to get to some Tower, where they're told they can find the key to get home. They find Venger waiting, and band together to fight him. They win. Venger is defeated, and after some yapping, they learn that he is Dungeon Master's son, and their ultimate test was to redeem Venger, not defeat him. Dungeon Master congratulates them, and opens the portal home. The series was to end with him saying something like 'You can choose to go home, or stay, and have more adventure in the realm of Dungeons and Dragons...'

Cue ending.

You can read it all here if you want.

If I remember correctly, it was the tired old 'Bobby won't leave Uni' rubbish again.

I ordered this last time it was on offer for my H. Can I ask a really stupid question - is it meant to be a cartoon?
I was expecting a film type thing!!!

I guess all those cartoony images on the front cover are a bit misleading.
