You'd get on with Baldurs Gate. Bit slower (as you have a party instead of just you)
So you pause - then allocate everyone's attacks then unpause
My BEST after Fallout 1 & 2
Planescape Torment

beautifully crafted, written and directed games. Absolute masterpieces, they really dont make them like that any more.
a must play for anyone who appreciates gaming.
Does anyone still have instructions (and files) on how to create the "mega mod" that links the two games together, patches loads of bugs, removes level cap and adds a shed-load of new content?

So no need to purchase the Icewind Dale ones?, aren't they supposed to be good too?
I loved playing RPG back in the day, never had to chance for these ones though.
*LOVED* it. Probably the best storyline for a game ever written, and probably the best RPG ever made. At least the best I ever played.
I just got the whole lot, let the nostalgia begin!
WTF???? Cherie Blair has her own game?

They're ok, but lacking a lot in plot and characters compared to the BG games. They're more dungeon crawly which is ok if you like that, but you don't have a backstory for your party and stuff like that (you select them as you set up the game). Same with Temple of elemental evil if I remember ok.
If you are an RPG conisseur, get the BG games, get past the old graphics and the complicated AD&D mechanics, and you'll unearth a proper gem.
