They didn't make it home properly/permanently before the series was cancelled - although there was an unfilmed "final" episode (Requiem), the script of which is featured in the boxset.

The script can also be found here....

I know they got home and then had to go back but did they ever get home to stay?
#6
I've heard about that last unfilmed episode, and if memory serves me it wasn't too bad a script.
Loved the series so just ordered the set. Got to try and sneak it into my collection without the missus seeing it. She's under the illusion I'm normal.

I never thought i'd end up watching this 20 years or so later. Think i'll chuck the missus the credit card at the weekend and break in my new plasma with D&D whilst she's out shopping :) . Cheers to OP.

Gave a pretty good closure to the main storyline ie Venger - shame they never made the episode for us kids (at the time - all grown up now, honest  )

When i enter HMV015 in the promotion code box i don't get any discount showing up just 0.00 do you have to spend a certain amount?

Great find, will order for the biggest kid in the family, the other half!

I remember watching this when I was about 6 years old and it was on at the weirdest of times on the weekend....... i think it was something like 6am on a Sunday, so I used to set my alarm to watch it.

I used to love the show at the time but I caught it somewhere recently and it didn't seem as entertaining but it's definitely worth a go at that price...... it's just a shame they never made it home before it was cancelled.
They should of made a special edition for casting the last ever episode for dvd buyers to finally see them make it home.

when you put it in your basket it comes up at £17.99
#12
same here, whats going on!?
#13
Same here - 17.99 :(
banned#14
Yep, likewise.

Still gives the £9.99 price on the item detail screen, but when you go through to checkout and purchase screens it is at £17.99 :x

Great series though

Just rang them and they are saying that the stock allocated for the sale has been sold out and the remaining copies are available at full price.

Annoyingly it was in my cart at 9.99 until I went to the checkout.
#16
Surely unless they change the webpage should they not honour the price?
#17
And they've dropped their Quidco rate to 2% during this offer as well!
#18
Anyone want to summarise the final script?

Nevermind, read it now! Just wish they completed it!

No.

No obligation whatsoever. Even if you ordered it at that price they can cancel the order.
#20
Bah. Ah well me money stays in me pocket for once.
#21

The big picture is that Venger does his usual bad things to keep the kids in the realm, but they find a way to defeat him. They then realise that their purpose was to help him find redemption, which is done when he reverts back to his old form.... then approaches the Dungeon Master and asks his father for forgiveness. Turns out Venger was his son all along.

Ends with a portal opening back to the theme park and DM telling the kids they can return or stay in the realm to help them defeat more evil........
