The show had a script written for the last episode but it had been cancelled before it could be made. The script is on the internet somewhere. This was a great show heat added.

Used to want to be the one with the magical bow and arrow ! Our science teacher was a spitting image of the Dungeon Master

So the last episode was cancelled...shame. To be fair, alot of the classic cartoons from back in the day never finished :-( I don’t remember ever seeing the final episodes to Visionaries, Thundercats or even the original Transformers for that matter. But still will pick up this hot deal.

yeah the cartton had nothing to do with the board game thing with the little lead men that I used to try and rob from a shop in town when I was akid but they watched you like a hawk

Possibly one of my all time frave cartoons, its a close call between this one and battle of the planets.

Bought this a while ago for about £15, so this is a good price. Still really enjoyable and my 4 year old loved it.

In a similar vein, I'm looking forward to the release of Starfleet on dvd later this year.

After reading the amazon review I am going to try and get the r1 release of this as it has audio commentary and story boards of the last episode that wasnt made !
#21
This is absolutely great. But it!

I got it when it was 17.99 down from 25, but this price is fantastic!

A lot of people say that they remember them getting home, but that was just one episode within the series but they ended up going back.

The best episodes are Day Of The Dungeon Master where whatzisname becomes Dungeon Master and also The Dragons Graveyard where their weapons are strongest and they confront Venger!!!

I would investigate the difference between the R1 and R2 versions before buying R1 (unless the R1 is cheaper). The R2 has Commentaries and the reviews on Amazon (for example on the stand alone volume 4) discuss the features in a bit more detail. They may be identical.

OK - I have nothing better to do on a Saturday morning - couple of reviews:

Volume One
http://dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=12956

Volume Two
http://dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=12958

Seem to stop reviewing after that, but based on those two, the extras seem decent considering the price.

I'd chuck Dogtanian in there (hey, i was young!) and Ulysses 31. Man i loved those cartoons. Tom & Jerry and co never did anything for me.

Just ordered - heat & rep to OP.

I'm sure you already know but will mention it anyway:

If you go via Quidco and go for Lovefilm (5% on both Lovefilm and The Hut), then you are able to get 5% off additionally with the code VCSEPT (code valid til midnight on 15 Sept according to Quidco) - taking the total to £10.38
