I was looking for a pump for our pram wheels and needed a basic one with an adapter that screws over the valve. The missus bought a fancy one for a fiver in Tesco that didn't work. All we wanted was a traditional pump. Looked around and spotted this online. I was lucky enough to get one in a local store saving P&P. Not really worth buying online as it's standard delivery is currently priced at £3.95 unless the order is over £50.

Simple, cheap pump, This offer may be of use to others.

Had the very same problem with one of those pumps that just pushes on over the valve. I don't think any of them work. Bought this one and it did the job no problem.

or get a cyclair pump (from £14 )
..I have one of these ,to use on my road bike
..quite funny in use actually as it sounds like s'one letting rip with several loud farts during use
the baby's probably going to look over the side of the pram in shock at all the racket going on!

..the beauty about the design is that you pull instead of push ..works really well

Prob RRP £4.99, not was £4.99, as the shop (Sports Direct ) actually own dunlop they set the RRP at a silly price then sell it at a reasonable price to make it look like a bargain! still a good buy as most stuff in this shop are, so Hot!

I would have paid £4.99 (luckily I didn't have to) for this but it is marked up on the packet with £4.99 printed next to the Bar Code. I would asume it has been sold at the higher price previously.
