wow, thanks, that's an amazing deal.I stopped playing ten years ago but was thinking of taking it up again. This has made my mind up for me.ordered!!!

How anyone can possibly think this was genuinely for sale at £300 or worth anything more than the £50 it is now must be either dumb or not have a clue about golf! Dunlop and Donnay - both in the same boat and both are utter rubbish ! (IMHO)

As well as quidco giving 12% cashback they also give a voucher code "quidco10" which will give a further 10% off until 1st June. see my post of today

Sorry ignore the above - Its a far better deal using the Sports direct "876000" code as you can only use one code
Apologies

Id bet you have a PC problem there - not a quidco one. I have had no problems in the last few weeks! :)

This may be a better set if you want a full set - still dunlop - still same site - and 10% code makes it about £61 delivered (-quidco)

http://www.sportsdirect.com/src/TD/cat_id/CYSGLFSET/product-Dunlop-MX2-Mens-12-piece-Set-Right-Hand-876007.htm

EDIT - I dont think this comes with a bag...

Have to say I agree, not even as good as the full set on that site for £49-99...
#18
I bought a similar dunlop set from sports world last year, they lasted about 6 weeks before the heads of three of the clubs fell off. I'd avoid if you're going to be playing a lot with them
#19
I got a few Dunlop clubs to fill a few gaps in my set. I didn't get on with them at all and due to playing golf more frequently I got hold of some Mizuno irons. I've since got some 'clone' clubs from the US to fill in around the Mizuno's and they are top notch (http://www.pinemeadowgolf.com/). In particular, the rescue clubs are great and have replaced the Mizuno Hybrid 3-5 irons.

If you want to have some golf clubs, these Dunlops will be fine. If you want to play golf and enjoy it, you will have to spend a bit more.

Anyone who ever paid £300 for that garbage is now probably living in a padded cell, to be joined shortly by anyone who pays £50 for it ....

True value ?

absolutely NOTHING ... totally worthless .. go to Toys R Us and buy a kiddies plastic set of clubs
#21
Aren't the Dunlop and Donnay names now owned by Sports World, so the name is meaningless, they are built down to the cheapest pricepoint.

You're not rubbish at golf by any chance are you? A bad workman..etc...

A decent player should be able to use any clubs ;-)

No. I gave a perfectly good reason why i have voted it cold. On top of the fact no postage and easy to return in 28 days. :whistling:

Better deal here - £50 for a full set.

http://www.thesportshq.com/

I had some of the graphite shafted Dunlops in my former, cobbled-together set, and the Chicago SGS are vastly superior. Not that the Dunlops are terrible if you're only an occasional player, but I'd take a full set of the Chicagos over them any day.

The Dunlop irons are perfectly fine, but their cheapo woods and drivers are very flimsy - the heads are completely hollow and dent pretty easily.

What code is this ? 876000 is not working for me

Freezing Cold - not worth £5 nevermind £50.
