I used to buy coconut milk but then saw how much is added to it - buy creamed coconut instead for about 80p. you can cut it in half, add boiling water to it and then you've got coconut milk which is made from 100%coconut, water and nothing else!

Can you buy like Coconut milk to just drink or have on cereal? If so where's the best place as I've never tried it

ALTHOUGH...I don't know with this stuff but the ALDI coconut milk is just over 50% coconut and it seperates in the can. Easy to drain the water from it and use the "cream" alone. If you could do that with this stuff it would be a good price (400ml of coconut cream for 66p rather that the usual £2 (£1 a can of 50% is pretty common in supermarkets, including ALDI)).

This isn't the "milk" from the coconut (as in the watery stuff in the middle), rather the flesh of the coconut mixed with water and strained. You can buy the watery stuff from the middle of the coconut in most Asian supermarkets but I wouldn't thik it would be much cop on your cornflakes!

I've drank plenty nasty things in my time lol. I'd give it a go on the cornflakes :)

Coconut milk is all the rage now due to it's medium chain triglycerides. Is high in good fats. We need a certain amount if good fat everyday, you won't get physically fat if you consume high good fat content along with a balanced diet. See for now information >

The closest you'll get off the shelf is Coconut Water, it's not milky though but similar taste. I've seen it in Waitrose and Sainsburys in there fruit juice section. One was called Coco Water from what I remember, never tried it though as it's quite expensive.
