At viking direct if you order enough batteries to qualify for free delivery (£35) you can get cheaper than this and don't have to to B&Q. For aa's it works out about 32p a battery from viking or 42p from B&Q. Its not that hard to run up £35 if you buy several different batteries but you do have to buy three packets of a type to get the best price at viking.

Picked up some AAAs and AAs in Shirley, Solihull. Batteries are dated 2013 and 2014 respectively so should just about last. :thumbsup:
