Anyone know a decent but cheap charger for these?

These are 2200mAh. I.E. Less capacity that the average AA.

They also have AA at £2.99 (@ PC world too)

There is also a Mini charger for AA & AAA for £3.97 again at both chains

Less juice than my rechargeable AAs? I would have voted cold if I knew that. Have reserved some and now wont bother to pick them up.

Perhaps its time to invest in some expensive plastic 2xAA to D cell adapters:

Any charger that supports D-cells will do - it doesn't have to have the Duracell label on the front and the corresponding price hike. But as jazid says, better to get adaptors for AAs as these are just AAs and air.

The photos are Energizers. OP is posting Duracell's. Are they all the same for rechargable AA's? Much better to have higher capacity ones in the first place. :?

Almost forgot to say here. 3.5% @ Quidco for all sales, including Collect at Store.

I think they will still last though. The pp3 rechargeables are generally a fraction of this mah but still last well enough.
Ps. Thanks for this. Was looking for some c's. Aldi were out of stock and wasn't prepared to pay the rip off prices. Ordered 3 packs of size c. You could add that c are available as well as d to your title!!

But they are 9v and will generally be used in different apps. Besides, measured power performance is not far behind these!

At the end of the day D cells are larger than AA cells so they can have a LARGER CAPACITY so you might as well buy some jackets as above and save some cash!

Sorry OP but as these batteries would not perform very well it is cold from me.

Might be worth checking Lidl if you have one local to you. A few months back they had rechargeable batteries and chargers on offer there. My local one still has stock of both. From memory the charger was about £11. Looked decent and accommodated various sizes. Remember it could definitely charge 4 D cells at once.

The D cell batteries were packs of 2 and had a capacity of either 4300mah or 4700mah. Thought at the time these were decent for the price as many D cells are like the pictures of the Energiser one shown (smaller batteries in D cell cases)

Hope this helps

Yesterday evening I went to the store at Chester Deva Retail Park ("Greyhound Park" area), and they had the 'C' twin packs of these. I then went to the Coliseum Retail park store and they had C, D, and PP3 (not many PP3 left though but they had a few C and D).
