what batteries, AA, AAA?
#2
Both I think.
#3
It was on a billboard outside, AA definatley, not sure about the AAA, but it said whilst stocks last..

I usually buy the 6 pack of Kodak Ultra ones from Poundland, mainly cos I dont wanna have to buy expensive batteries for my choosy camera.

This deal works out that if I was buying 8 packets of the Poundland ones I could get Duracell for the same price.

Hmmm interesting me thinks.

Heat added.

This is a great HOT PRICE for me, as I can recharge them and get about 7 uses out of each battery!! GOOD FIND, ON MY WAY.

I think you can recharge them about 6 times although after each recharge they loose a percentage of power. Not sure if you have to buy a special charger but from memory these are not expensive:)
#8
not a good idea to charge them? on the back of the battery it says "Caution: Do not connect improperly, charge or dispose of in fire. Battery may explode or leak"

ive accidently put a none rechargeable battery in a charger and it spilt battery acid everywhere.
#9
You can recharge disposable batteries but you need a special charger, don't put them in a "normal" rechargeable battery charger or you'll know about it.

If you're looking for AAA batteriesthen you may want to check out the Jessops deal that was posted on here earlier today.

I've got a special charger I bought from QVC called a Battery Buddy, that safely recharges quality alkaline batteries upto 6-7 times, so saving money. Great for remote controls and low powered items.

Here's a link to the charger: http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.559227

I bought something similar from QVC a few years ago called a Battery Genie, though it was a great idea as I was throwing away far too many at the time. The batteries leaked something terrible afterwards, and I was using Duracell so it wasn't a cheap battery. Maybe they've come on a bit since then and this one is better, but that one put me right off them.

Not quite as good as the Jessops deal.

Although the reviews on the QVC page suggest less than delighted purchasers.
