Hate to be a wet blanket but why aren't they in their original Duracell packaging in the picture? Are they genuine?

Think that Photoglossy are a part of MX2 and their level of customer service is generally second to none as are the items they sell on their web-site so it's doubtful that these aren't genuine. Strange packaging though admittedly.

HTH.

Fantastic!!! Cheap ones for the Wii remotes

No offence intended to the poster or anyone else, but why are you all still buying alkaline when rechargables are so cheap now.
Ive never voted cold before even on deals i think are total rubbish but feel i must for the sake of common sense.
Again no offence intended:thumbsup:

Simply because these outlast any rechargeables by some distance! I feel I must point this out for the sake of common sense. Good deal OP.

I buy my duracell from b&q 18 for £4.99 AA or AAA as I use them In my xbox 360 controller.

I'd be suprised if these cheap Duracell Plus batteries could outlast any decent rechargables.

For example, put these in your digital camera and enjoy your 4 pictures.

Was in comet in Manchester (White City Retail) last week and they were selling six-packs of DuracellPlus for 99p
#15
Sorry voted cold.

This aint cheap at 41.25p per battery.

One of the pound shops has these at 33.3p per battery (3 pack for £1) for small quantities and better to buy in bulk as above post states.

I'm not at all convinced that is true. ANY rechargeables, you say? :whistling:

Are these no good at Poundland? They say they are alkaline and I would of thought Panasonic would be pretty good?

Not trying to thread spoil, but genuinely trying to offer alternatives :)

Voted cold, the Rayovac's from SVP are as good as Duracell and from 19p a pack

i think the idea of posting on-line deals in comparison with going to Pound Shopper is so that you do not have to A) Leave the house B) get out of your armchair and putting down your Pie and Can of Skol and C) pay the 20p for 12 minutes to park your car, whilst you go an buy said mentioned batteries...
#20
i bought 2 packets, so thats £3.30. it costs me £3.60 for a bus ticket to town before i even get to the poundshop. At when i have done so, and i have bought those batteries, i gotta say they were only good for my remotes :whistling:

Those duracells are bargain enough for me. :)

im curious though...those Rayovac's.....anyone used them? and how did they perform?
#21
Another good place for batteries and the energizer ones they do are cheaper and just as good as the duracell from experience.

i got some, i voted hot ok....anybody upset by that.....well tough i dont want rechargables......ner ner

Rayovac make awesome batteries, very heavy and long lasting. There used to be a factory that built them near us and we used to get loads for nowt.

And I dare say, having a digital camera that rechargeable batteries last as long as duracel in one go, but then they last 1,000 times longer in the long run. So you pay less than £10 for 4 good rechargeable batteries that will go in your camera 1,000 times. That works out at 1 pence per go for 4 batteries, so 0.25p per battery. Lets see any Duracell beat that.

But don't worry I have not voted cold as it still not a bad price for anyone wanting Duracell. Where I lvie they are at least £1.99 per pack of 4.
#24
you can get them cheaper at svp they are not in stock at the moment but will be soon also if you are a member and sign up with them and say you are from hukd then they become even cheaper.

Why not just buy the recharable thing for the 360 pads?

Saves alot of money!

I get 16 Panasonic AA batteries for household items for £1 - this isn't a deal to me but might be for some. Anything like 360 controller, digital camera is rechargable :)
