Kodak extralife poundland are 6 for a pound what idiot will pay 8 pounds for duracell where kodak xtralife is arguably better battery.

or you could get 36 Amazon basic ones (Performance will be very similar) for £8.29 even less if you have a student prime account https://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Performance-Alkaline-Batteries-Pack/dp/B00LH3DMUO?th=1

There is really not much difference between Alkaline AA batteries:

Cheapos are fine.

Hmm... Last weekend I picked up a Duracell BOGOF deal for £6 (2x packs of eight AA) in York (Monkscross), honestly not sure if it's still on as I've not been in since but might be worth checking out if you're in the market to power up ;)

Whilst not the cheapest, B&Q do 16 Varta batteries for £7 (2x8 packs) which are certainly as good as these. Shame they are not offering the 20 pack units they had earlier in the year for £6

Something not right with their tests. Duracell plus are absolutely useless compared to ultra. They must have had a bad batch of something, plus die far quicker than ultra
