which asda was this in? they were this price at the store i work in a few week ago wasnt hapy when they went up again before i bought em! hope this is all stores!

Just rang my mam who's doing her Christmas shopping today. Asked if she'd pick some up for me.

Ironically I was told they'd run out in Farnworth.

COLD ....... BECAUSE ......... Britons throw away over 600 MILLION household batteries every year and only a fraction of these get recycled.

This is waste of monstrous proportions so whilst this is a cheap deal do yourself and the environment a favour by splashing out on eneloop-type batteries.

A responsible government/EC would make disposable batteries illegal.
