I know the difference!

Why would you post 2 different items on the same post ?

If they are so brilliant then let's have them in
a post of their own then we can all have a
field day telling you what we think of them.
Absolute dross and a waste of time as well
as filling up the landfill.

Rechargebles are best but if you must buy
non-recharge then get a good make like
Duracell and stop pretending that the 12 for
£1 ones are as good.

They are SONY and they are utter junk, avoid, even smartprice ones are better.
I'm surprised SONY put their name to them, unless they're fakes.

Heat added, ordered a few packs.

Pathetic attempt (_;)

And your point is....... ???

4 weeks old thread on a different product updated with a new product so that its well hidden from those who need it.

Pathetic (_;)

Never saw the original thread so cheers to Edi from me.

BTW, from what I've seen, Poundland do the 8, 10 or 12 (depending on offers and extra free batteries .i.e. 8+4 free) pack of Sony and Panasonic ones (sometimes a two pack of AAA duracell) and a pack of rechargeables (2 per pack). None are any good unless they're for the kids to mess about with in torches and only last minutes. Seems a waste. Bought a bulk buy of 50 Duracell Procell of a well know auction site for a bargain price of £10.69 delivered and been excellent. Worth having a search.

Poundland have 2 for a pound which equates to the same price. Not voting.
#19
AA's would have been good. I'm not sure if i need that many aaa's. I'll check the missuses rabbit for more info
#20
HUKD - too many "debates/arguments" with no facts.

Thank for posting this deal, this is very good value and as such resevered 2 for pick up.

I think you will find thats double the price then
#22
ordered a few packs, and a couple of aa which are £4.99.I have plenty of rechargeables, but sometimes i just forget to charge them.

Great to just put in the tv remote or digital camera when you have no rechargeables ready

There are some idiotic comments on this thread. I think hotuk should be vetting people for stupidity before allowing them to post.

The poundland batteries are good for nothing really. And to an earlier comment. 4x2 = 8 !!
#26
MadeDixonsCry, what are you on about? Did you mean they're 4 for a pound, or are you slightly dim?
#27
Just ordered mine, thanks.

ROFL. I have never seen such ignorance and aggression directed at folk who are trying to do others a favour as there is on this forum. Is this an under-12 site? Or some kind of fight club?

But it is a very useful place and there are some great posts on here. Just hope people don't get put off by the nonsense that gets spouted against them.

Problem is Boss, since you've updated the site, we won't know who the mods and admin people are and of course that leaves you open to the Keyboard Rambos.

Something I will say on the subject of batteries. I have seen the 'Procell' brand pop up in this thread. These are superb batteries and are used by professionals. But they are also very very cheap, and they are almost as good as Duracell Plus (procell is owned by duracell)

You can get them on the bay of fools, and amazon etc.

Also another point, there is no point using batteries like these for low draw applications like remotes/clocks etc. Just put cheapies in them!
#31
good work 'edi' just what i needed...ordered a few packs :)
#32
2 reserved 4 me!!
#33
when will u guys listen poundland - energiser are different this is the best deal for duracell if u find a better deal for duracell then post it. But dont tell us that KWIKFIT are doing a car battery that has a lot more power than duracell.
