Picked these up last night, £2.99 a pack for Duracel or 2 packs for £3. Bargain.

already posted - nonrechargables dont tend to get hot in here btw but good info
(i posted 8 AA @ 1.59 and didn't reach 100, apparently some cheap in sainsburys dunno brand or stock levels though)

Would the either of the Asda AA batteries be any good in a digital camera (Normally I use rechargeable but am looking for some disposbles for a holiday)?

Digital Camera best to stick to Lithium, wheich are more expensive but definately worth it. otherwise you would get through 8 AA batteries in a week easy.
